Let me pick up a package when it is in the area and actually at the facility not make me what and miss delivery with siganature

I placed an order to eBay that I paid the shipping on. The seller used UPS as the shipper. I was notified of its delivery on 6/30/2022, but no package was delivered. I waited, giving them an additional day, which was a Friday. UPS in Gulfport, MS doesn't work weekends. Monday was July 4 they were closed for the holiday. Tuesday morning I went to the UPS store in Hardy court, I explained to the very nice people my problem, and they directed me to the hub on 34th Street. I, went to the hub, waited my turn to speak to the only person there. She listened, took my tracking number to make sure I was not mistaken. She checked the computer and then went to the back for some time. When she returned, she had a printed map of my neighborhood. She pointed to a house near mine, telling me the package had been delivered there. She asked if I wanted to retrieve the package or have her driver do it. I said for her driver to, because that was a rental house and I didn't know the people. Besides, I had paid for shipping and I wanted what I paid for. She told me it would be a little later in the day, but they would handle it. Here it is Wednesday at 11am and no package. I don't like being deceived. read more

UPS does a great job if you want to pick up your package at the facility. They will check your ID to make sure it's really you, but if they deliver the package they have no problem dropping it 15 miles from your house at a different address and just leave it outside in the weather without checking if it's really you. The lable will be changed with your name and a different address label put over the correct address. read more

I know I can always get AWESOME and timely assistance with Natalie. Shes helped me numerous times and Shes actually gone above and beyond. I needed help with a time and she contacted the truck, without me having to even ask. She's polite and to the point! This isn't the easiest job, I imagine, with everyone wanting their package RIGHT NOW. But Natalie has always been kind and patient! My favorite UPS Center, by far! read more

I have never had an issue with customer service from this center. Of course I'm polite and respectful when I'm talking to customer service people even when I'm upset about something so they are nice and respect full back to me. There are things that are out of the certain employees control a lot of customers don't seem to understand. I can't tell you how many times I have gone in there and heard someone screaming at these people or over the phone you can hear someone screaming and cussing at these people for something that they have no control over and would've been perfectly willing to do whatever they could have the person on the phone been respectful. These people get treated like junk from most and I can't understand why anyone would treat anyone that badly read more

You are terrible! You tell me package has been held for future delivery WITH NOT REASON AS TO WHY! Plus delivery is held back for over a week! You give ZERO information! All you say is package hasn't arrived, yet on your stupid site it says it has arrived at Gulfport. What is wrong with you people! so i go in to return directv equipment, the internet is down, james the manager is having a smoke break and he has a tattooed girl at the front desk shooing customers away. i want her to take my equipment, give me a receipt and return it to att when the internet comes back up. she looks at me like i just spoke in albanian and james appears saying no can do, please leave now. i'm asking when the internet will be up, how often does this happen, how many times are customers expected to come back to get service one time. he wants to know why i'm still there. it's because the store is still open and because i still don't have answers. so james closes the store just for me. up walks a tall friendly black man with a ups store uniform (sorry i never got his name), he wants to know why i'm outside and please come inside. i told him i can't because they closed the store just for me. he says he'll go in and find out what's going on- which he did. he said the internet company is being called right now (an hour after james opened, discovered the internet unavailable and went to smoke), he handed me a business card with the number to the store on it and said to give them a call when i've run my other errands, it might be fixed by then! THAT is customer service!! i don't know where he came from but i've been in the store a few times and haven't seen him. james, unfortunately, is as ubiquitous as he is unwelcoming. when i called later, it was james who answered & said the internet was still down- i didn't believe him because i could hear him helping someone at the counter and others were heard being helped at another. he undoubtedly assumed i would go elsewhere but i came back that weekend & asked about the internet, reminding him who i was. he remembered & said he's not gonna help me (so immature). i ask for the owner's number. he says he's the manager, i say i know and he's not doing a good job imo. james gives me the owners number, i call him (a very nice man btw), he calls james, james helps me begrudgingly and says don't come back, but of course i have & i will- -and you can too because it's a free country and james isnt the boss of us! just be aware he might try to tell you what "you need to" do also--particularly imo if you identify as female. it must apparently work on occasion because he's downright belligerent when you're disobedient/non-compliant. maybe one day they'll make the friendly & customer service-oriented black man the manager~ no doubt more customers would do more business there more often and leave happier. read more

Good Morning UPS. So ultimately I have a complaint but I am going to lead up to my complaint of why I am angry with your company. I want to know if you guys are family friendly? I am getting married on Friday in Texas. My best friend and MAID OF HONOR works for you. I plan excessively and have had my wedding planned out since the end of February this year. My best friend works at the Gulfport Center. She asked for off for my wedding which is October 7th and they approved her vacation however, it was for the wrong dates. She then asked if it could be fixed and she was told NO. She then asked if she could just have Friday off so she could make the wedding but miss my rehearsal. She was told NO. I wouldn't be so upset about it but I have known her my whole life. She is my family. We have been through quite a bit of life experiences together and I chose her to be my MAID OF HONOR for a reason. I don't have a replacement and I understand work has to get done. I served my country for 6 years and overseas the last 2 years in Japan forward deployed for the US Navy. So after coming home from deployment, being stateside preparing for my wedding, and now my upcoming nuptials. THE ONE THING I need is for my best friend to be on the vacation she is supposed to be on. I have missed Christmas's and Birthday's. I have missed births and I have been in the middle of the East China Sea. There will always be work to do. Work is never complete. Procedural due process should have been given. I know you are a business and don't care. I get that. I really hope you understand why I'm upset and hope that you figure out a better business model.
