The workers were all really nice. But the guy (owner) who did my tattoo started good, then his wife came in, and she ranted about how bad her day was, and then he'd keep looking up and down from my leg to her. My tattoo was mainly lines and circles, some lines came out thicker and others skinny, the reference pic I showed had the body lines squiggly cause it's Doodlebob (SpongeBob) I even told the guy it was my first tat in 4 years, and he gets distracted and f's it up. If I could give less than 1 star I would. The guy me and my friend had fucked up her simple tattoo and instead of a broken heart (SO SIMPLE) it turned out looking like a sideways crabby patty. My tattoo was pretty simple as well it was a name but it is the biggest one I've ever gotten. He didn't give me any instructions on how to clean it or tell me that it would peel. It's been almost a week now and it's still peeling and still hurting. Service was good but the tattoo artist we had I would NEVER recommend to a friend let alone a stranger. 0.5 stars/5 read more

Just got a simple cartilage piercing done and was able to walk in and get seated in the piercing chair right away. Sonny did such a great job at making me feel calm and talked to me the entire time! The room and the rest of the shop were super clean and the staff was super friendly and I'll be back for my other piercings and tattoos. Also lots great recommendations for aftercare too. read more

This business does not want your business! I took my nine year old daughter to have her ears pierced because tattoo shops do such a better job, and the lady was really rude and charged $150.00 for 5 minutes. Then my five year old started wanting her ears pierced and ask everyday for six weeks, so I decided to take her to Uprock, knowing that the lady was rude, but does her job well. The lady clearly did not want to pierce my five year olds daughters ears and then said it would be $200.00 to pierce her ears. I really should have walked out then, but my daughter had asked for six weeks straight to have her ears pierced and I was tired of telling her "not today" so I paid and we went back to pierce her ears, and my daughter chickened out. The lady then said she would only give me $100.00 back. She never touched my kid. We were there for 15 minutes max and she kept $100.00 for doing nothing. She never tried to make my daughter feel more comfortable or like everything will be fast and fine. She just stared at her and was like "well sorry kid." I was so mad that I have waited a full week to leave a review because I just want to warn other people that this business is horrible. I wasn't so much about the money either. If she had just made my daughter feel comfortable I would not have minded at all paying $200.00 to have her ears pierced. Just so you know, they don't have their prices listed and seem to just come up with a random figure. Uprock has never had a single customer walk in while I was there, so it isn't like they have so much business that they can act so rude. It is not worth going here. Stay away! read more
