He's been growing out his hair for almost 3 years. Senior portraits are soon and I pretty much begged my son to do something/ ANYTHING to his hair. Reluctantly and after much research, he opted for a wolf cut. CJ is so talented! My son showed him a picture of the haircut. He took a glance, said OK and started chopping away. I've always passed by this shop when I'd be at Maui Mall, but never knew they cut children's hair as young as 1! We were able to make an appointment the same day which worked out perfectly. I don't remember the name of the lady that cut our son's hair, but she was really fast and efficient. This was our son's first hair cut ever (he's 3 1/2) and I was worried he'd get nervous. However, she made him feel comfortable and was able to patiently work around our super ticklish, squirmy little boy. About 18" of hair gone, just like that! My heart may have broken just a little, haha. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes and my son's been loving his short hair ever since. I only wish she had used regular scissors vs. the razor as it can damage hair, but overall pleased with the results. The shop is pretty basic, but spacious and clean. They met our needs and we'll be back for another haircut for the kiddo in the future.

I had a little bit of trouble booking online but when I called the salon, everyone was super friendly and really accommodating. The haircut was just OKAY- not terrible , but definitely not good either. My 2-year-old's haircut, however, was disappointing. I was surprised at how uneven it looked, so I politely asked if she could clean up and fade a few areas. Even after that, I still had to point out several noticeable spots needing fixing- things I would've expected a professional to catch right away. To be fair, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, but it seems they may be more experienced with women's cuts than young boys' haircuts. My hair was almost down to my waist, so had her chop off most of it into a graduated A-line where it's shorter in the back and longer in the front. Adding brown highlights will help keep any new grays that grow in from being less noticeable. Very convenient location and well kept salon. Kina is the best and does an amazing job.
