The costumer service here is absolutely horrible from the second we walked in here the employees were rude we came a little early before our appointment since we just came from GEN not expecting to be helped early perfectly fine waiting the women in there made it seem like we weren't allowed in there just 20 minutes because our appointments there was no one at all in there when we came in I understand if it was busy but it definitely was not my oldest sons hair came out uneven in the hair line when we asked if she could fix it she practically started yelling tells us we were wrong when it was clearly uneven she unwilling fixed only to yell across the salon if this is what we wanted then proceeded to tell the other even more unfriendly worker an older lady with glasses that we were annoying very loudly the other lady with glasses and curly hair has never not been rude and we've been here many times before they used to have a great stylist here named Sarah unfortunately she is no longer there do not come here unless you want to feel uncomfortable unwanted and truly just made to feel like you getting your hair cut is a problem I've never felt more uncomfortable in my life I'm very surprised that this company allows such rude attitude from employees read more

Took my 13 year old nonverbal autistic boy in today and Jessica was great! She was friendly and took the time to be patient and hear what he wanted and understanding of his needs. His haircut request was different and she even recommended something else but she understood what he wanted and delivered exactly that! Not to mention she is super fast! April cut my 12 year old daughter's hair today. She was extremely patient with me while I argued with my adolescent daughter who needed a haircut after not getting one for 1 1/2 years. My daughter is half black, and part Hawaiian and Chinese. Her hair is thick, long, and curly and reminds me of Slash's hair from Guns and Roses. He hair desperately needed deep conditioning and I have never seen her hair so vibrant and healthy. I was extremely stressed having a long day but April was very helpful and professional and showed true Aloha. This goes to show that you don't need to spend a lot of money for a quality cut. They cut my hair ok, but even having an appointmen, the wait is long. They always say, "sorry I am the only here, so you'll have to wait even if you made an appointment. Most of the hair dressers are nice, but one is so nasty. When miss nasty cuts my hair, she is always in a bad mood. I go in there happy, but leave there with an ok haircut but irritated and upset, so I will no longer go there. I think I will let my hair grow to the ground. Because it's slim pickings in Maui, customer service has gone downhill. I budget 40 dollars for a haircut. So even if the price is 20-30 dollars I give them 40 dollars. For everything such as DMV, clothes buying, etc., I do online shopping. Tired of rudeness and pissy attitudes. I no longer dine out either because of bad attitudes. I had big hopes for this place as it is close to my house and workplace. The people there were extremely nice and conversational, which is great. I have only great things to say about their customer service. But... I'm sad to say it's probably the worst haircut I have received anywhere. The two sides (by the ear) look quite different, and my stylist wasn't able to match them them because so much hair was cut from one side. The gal cutting my hair (again, very nice and SUPER friendly) had to ask her coworker for help. :( I really don't like writing negative reviews, but this haircut is pretty rough... Hopefully they will get better as their staff gains more experience. read more

My hairstylists name was Sarah and I loved the haircut and blow dry she gave me, it was exactly what I asked for and wanted. I was nervous at first because of some of the reviews but Sarah was so knowledgeable about EVERY thing. She gave me life changing hair tips for my specific curly color treated hair type. She gave me incredible baby bangs and she was considerate of every factor and I can only sing of her praises! If you have the chance, ask for her, she's been doing this a long time! read more

I came here on their grand opening and my stylist was rhiana, she's just amazing I explained what I wanted and she nailed it head on from the color yo the cut and style, exquisite personality, superb customer service so I sent my husband in to get a haircut she wasn't at the puunene salon she was at the let me triangle, um glad he found her we are pleased to say not only does she nail women hair and styles she nailed my husband's haircut and gave him a new style! Rhiana is a must see, the shop is new and very nice might I add, smaller then the other shop in kahului but it's nice to sit in a new salon and be surrounded with such friendly staff read more
