However after my experience now at Highfield on two separate occasions I think it is justified. Prior to my even having an appointment the staff was incredibly helpful. My PCP was ordering a specific MRI which they had not ordered before and we were not sure would be covered. Highfield actually called me and walked me through step by step how the order should be written and how the doctor should put it through. After passing their advice on to my doctor approval came through pretty quickly. I was able to schedule and get in pretty quickly. They even have Saturday hours. Due to Covid right now they are not allowing anyone other than the patient in (unless necessary). You ring a bell to be let in and they check your temperature before letting you in to the waiting room. They had sanitizer out and were handling things very well. My scans were done by two different people on two different days. Both of them were very nice and accommodating. They explained what to expect and how long each portion would take. They made sure I was as comfortable as could be when positioned for the MRI. After the scans were finished maybe 10 minutes later I was out the door with discs of my images in hand. I have had a lot of MRIs done and the ones at Highfield were by far the smoothest process from start to finish. I wouldn't hesitate to go here again in the future or to recommend it (to friends or here on Yelp).

This helps me cut down on worry or wondering how long will it be before I know my results. They offer free Wi Fi services. The place is clean, orderly, and very professional. There is a large parking lot in front of the building with handicapped accessible access Most importantly, they do a thorough exam and follow up if necessary regarding your particular reason for your visit. They let you know of any miscellaneous charges up front if need be as well as giving you the option to take enhanced testing if you are willing to pay for it. I pulled up to the building and sat outside the front entrance for 10 minutes and no one came out. I called the office and was told someone would be out in just a minute. (when you call the number listed, you are not calling the office but an answering service). After 20 minutes of waiting and 3 phone calls to the office, I drove around and found a parking spot that was permit parking only, but I didn't care because I was already late for my appointment. When I was in the exam room the technician goes over my information and states I am there for a mammogram. I corrected her and said a mammogram with ultrasound. She told me my insurance would not cover the ultrasound, and she could only do the mammogram. I told her I would self-pay it's not a problem. Then she tells me I do not need an ultrasound. Excuse me? If it's written on my script directly from my OBGYN, then yes, I do need it. Then I am told there is no doctor there so I wouldn't be able to get it anyway. That is a flat out lie! If there wasn't a radiologist there, then why do you sit in the waiting room after your exam to get your results? There was most certainly a radiologist there, but the technician was refusing to perform the ultrasound which was written by my physician. At that point, I gather up my things and walk out. She is not a physician and should NOT be giving medical advice! MY OBGYN faxed my script to Weinstein Imaging on 2/4/2025, 3 weeks before my appointment. That gave the office plenty of time to call me and let me know the ultrasound was not covered and ask if I wanted to proceed with the exam and self-pay. You do not assume anything when it comes to someone else's health.

According to its website, it provides assessments and treatments for cold, flu, COVID-19, sinus problems, infections, allergies, rashes, migraines, sprains, strains, orthopedic injuries, and more. Days ago, my husband had a bad fall, and he suffered many injuries. He felt concerned about one particular area of his body, so I recommended that he go to an urgent care. He chose this one. He did not complain to me about the employees here. He said that the staff did an x-ray, and their interpretation was that his rib was not fully broken but might be either slightly cracked or bruised. They said that his rib would heal on his own and to take pain medication. The staff also briefly looked at his other injuries and said that he was doing OK and would heal over time.

What they do wrong is when they bill you on the spot. Don't ever pay on the spot if you have insurance. Let it get billed through your insurance carrier then bill you if you owe anything. They told me today I had $88 due as "my share" of the billing. I questioned that since my blood work is usually covered, but they printed out a report showing me what was suppose to be my out of pocket. I paid the $88 but afterward checked my insurance on line. I have no co-pays with bloodwork. Now I have to wait to have this processed, deal with my insurance company and I'm sure fight to get my $88 back. Again, NEVER PAY QUEST IF YOU HAVE INSURANCE. Let the claim process first, then pay what you get billed. This strikes me as a slightly dishonest process practiced by Quest Diagnostic.​
