However after my experience now at Highfield on two separate occasions I think it is justified. Prior to my even having an appointment the staff was incredibly helpful. My PCP was ordering a specific MRI which they had not ordered before and we were not sure would be covered. Highfield actually called me and walked me through step by step how the order should be written and how the doctor should put it through. After passing their advice on to my doctor approval came through pretty quickly. I was able to schedule and get in pretty quickly. They even have Saturday hours. Due to Covid right now they are not allowing anyone other than the patient in (unless necessary). You ring a bell to be let in and they check your temperature before letting you in to the waiting room. They had sanitizer out and were handling things very well. My scans were done by two different people on two different days. Both of them were very nice and accommodating. They explained what to expect and how long each portion would take. They made sure I was as comfortable as could be when positioned for the MRI. After the scans were finished maybe 10 minutes later I was out the door with discs of my images in hand. I have had a lot of MRIs done and the ones at Highfield were by far the smoothest process from start to finish. I wouldn't hesitate to go here again in the future or to recommend it (to friends or here on Yelp).

Maybe if I was in a hurry I might have noted the time better but I live over 1 hr and 30 min. away from this place so it's a day gone anyway, instead of having to go back to work or something. We have a high deductible insurance plan that doesn't cover till I reach $5000.00 and paying self pay here costs about $500.00 for an MRI in comparison to $900.00, for the same body part, somewhere else. But what hurts the most is that I had to fight to keep my baby's remains from being treated like medical waste. The doctor did not even seem to know that I could ask for the pregnancy tissue from my D&C as proof of my pregnancy and loss. I should never have had to fight for this. I was grieving my baby, and I had to fight the hospital to make sure her remains were not simply thrown away. Then I was offered a keychain... I don't want a keychain to remember this experience by. I wanted my baby. I won't put all my private medical details here, but other parents need to know: ask questions, ask what is happening to the remains, request your records, and ask for your proof of conception for a proper burial based on your faith. You also have a right for the hospital to take care of the remains, if that's what helps you get through. No judgement, just options. The pathologist named Stephanie was the one person who showed me extraordinary compassion. They treated Estelle with dignity and treated me like a grieving mother, not a case number. Just a beautiful soul who looks you in the eye. I will never forget that. Mercy needs to do better. Losing my baby was devastating enough. I should never have had to fight the hospital to make sure she mattered. Horton taught us "A person is a person, no matter how small." Estelle mattered. Her remains mattered. And I am grateful to the pathologist who treated her with the dignity she deserved.

He wrote up a prescription and asked where I wanted to pick it up being cheap I asked if there was a costco and it turned out not that far away The nurse who took care of the wounds did a great job she had to take care of pus buildup I had to use the bus system to get here and that worked out Just to see the doctor will be an upfront $120 and the treatment was only another $175

This helps me cut down on worry or wondering how long will it be before I know my results. They offer free Wi Fi services. The place is clean, orderly, and very professional. There is a large parking lot in front of the building with handicapped accessible access Most importantly, they do a thorough exam and follow up if necessary regarding your particular reason for your visit. They let you know of any miscellaneous charges up front if need be as well as giving you the option to take enhanced testing if you are willing to pay for it. I will always go here for my diagnotic needs.

I pulled up to the building and sat outside the front entrance for 10 minutes and no one came out. I called the office and was told someone would be out in just a minute. (when you call the number listed, you are not calling the office but an answering service). After 20 minutes of waiting and 3 phone calls to the office, I drove around and found a parking spot that was permit parking only, but I didn't care because I was already late for my appointment. When I was in the exam room the technician goes over my information and states I am there for a mammogram. I corrected her and said a mammogram with ultrasound. She told me my insurance would not cover the ultrasound, and she could only do the mammogram. I told her I would self-pay it's not a problem. Then she tells me I do not need an ultrasound. Excuse me? If it's written on my script directly from my OBGYN, then yes, I do need it. Then I am told there is no doctor there so I wouldn't be able to get it anyway. That is a flat out lie! If there wasn't a radiologist there, then why do you sit in the waiting room after your exam to get your results? There was most certainly a radiologist there, but the technician was refusing to perform the ultrasound which was written by my physician. At that point, I gather up my things and walk out. She is not a physician and should NOT be giving medical advice! MY OBGYN faxed my script to Weinstein Imaging on 2/4/2025, 3 weeks before my appointment. That gave the office plenty of time to call me and let me know the ultrasound was not covered and ask if I wanted to proceed with the exam and self-pay. You do not assume anything when it comes to someone else's health.

My husband went to Harmarville ER due to chest pains. We had never been there before, but had…read morealways heard good things about it. The minute we walked in, we knew the good things were true. He was immediately taken care of by so many wonderful. Kind people. Many tests were quickly done. While waiting for the test results we were taken to a room upstairs just incase he had to be admitted. While waiting for the test results, he was treated to a delicious lunch and made comfortable. My husband was blessed to be able to come home that same night. Our treatment there was above and beyond anything we could have imagined.
