They also have continuing education for the stylists so they can hone their skills. The higher the level of the stylist, which is listed on their site, the higher the base pay. I guess when you make your appointment, you could ask what the base pay of that particular stylist will be. Prices on par for a salon that makes you look nice. Refreshments are available upon request. Beautiful venue and always clean. Every now and then i get an email where they put on a fun event or provide a discount special for the holidays or charity event. I've seen wine and canvas and couple massage packages. I was prepared to pay a $50 cancellation fee, but I was not prepared to pay 50% of services NOT received. So, I paid over $200 for a cut and partial frost PLUS $107 late cancellation fee. I am STILL in shock. I was informed that the policy had been in place for a couple years. That's great but as one who is not typically a no-show, I did not know. *****There should be signs throughout the salon!! I'm sure this was a management call --and it was a bad one.

I was worried I wouldn't be able to get back to a normal color. She really knows what she is doing and although we couldn't get me back to my natural without really damaging my hair she got me to a very pretty color that fits my skin tone and my hair is still healthy. She was thankfully able to. After showing her multiple (and slightly different) pictures of what I wanted she was able to walk through what she would be able to do. Stephanie was honest and upfront with me about everything. She let me know that the hair color I wanted was going to require maintenance to make sure that I was aware. She was honest in the condition of my hair and gave me suggestions on products that would help (best part is that she did not push these products on me, it was a genuine suggestion). She is very personable and easy to get along with, the conversation was easy, which is something that is important to me. The hair color and hair cut I received was perfect, exactly what I asked for! New to the area and needed my roots done with gray coverage and a plan for transition back to…read moreblonde. Stylist told me she would do my roots a shade lighter and then tone and blend in, plus cut. On my initial visit the hot water was out and I thought it was a fluke. Six weeks later I go back for a second appointment and tell my stylist that the light color did not blend with the rest of my hair and needed to be fixed. She tells me she'll tone it. She puts color in my hair, set me by the wash station and left me there for an hour while she did somebody else's hair. When she came back, she apologized and said the hot water was out again. So I got another cold hair wash, she dry it, and the color was not blended and I ended up with light roots and dark hair. I ended up having to go to somebody else for a color correct because not only where the root slider than the rest of my hair and not blended, the roots weren't even consistently colored, spots missed, gray not covered. These pictures were taken seven days after the color appointment. I won't be back, I paid $200 for the most experienced colorist on Staff and what I got was bad color with cold water.

My hair is not difficult, I am a brunette who was just looking for some dimension in my hair. I decided to got with DL Lowry since it had such great reviews. I spent hours researching their stylists and picked the perfect one for my needs. I called weeks in advance and scheduled my appointment. I was really excited because I've been so down about my hair and I had a wedding coming up on Saturday and was really excited to look pretty. I'm crying as I write this because if you know what it's like to be done dirty by a salon then you know. It sucks. It beats you down. Hair is so important to me and so I was so excited. I felt like I finally was going to get beautiful hair again. Wrong. The night before my appointment I was so excited, I checked in online and while I was checking in I noticed a different name than the high level dimensional brunette stylist I extensively researched. I knew then that it was happening again and I was about to be shoved over. I called the next morning and sure enough, they switched the stylist to a different lower level stylist (who I'm sure is great) who doesn't specialize in what I wanted because the stylist I wanted had scheduled someone else and no longer had time for my spot. No call, no text. Just switched me. Maybe if they would've given me the courtesy of letting me know early I could've rescheduled for a time before the wedding. But no. Day of appointment when I called they informed me that they moved me and she would not have any time to see me. I informed them that I scheduled in advance and that the wedding was Saturday. They did not care. They said they would "make a note for next time" whatever that means, idk how that would help since the wedding will be long over and I can promise you I will never be going back. I feel like once again I as a customer and a person am so unimportant.
