Hannah didnt really listen to me about the specifics of what I wanted.. she was insistent about taking off approx 2-3 inches..! when I said no she smirked, giggled under her breath (I almost left at that point, but l really needed a trim), and then proceeded to cut my hair quite mediocre.. she didnt take enough off the top (as directed) I think this was a passive move, however, did retain the length, only because I countered it is the First Thing I stated when booking the appointment.. I will also note: wanted me to make appoint "online" (I called) it was like I was "bothering" her to make the appointment over the phone.. Im older and dont do much "online" or "emails".. was not happy! even though I tipped well (over 4O%) and never recieved a thank you.. I do try to be generous so they will remember me for next time, you know, how I like it, the kind of cut, etc.. but the thing about haircuts is you (well me) never really know until you (me) style it yourself.. my 2 stars is being highly gracious for what I paid (over $8O) for a trim. UPDATE: SLANDEROUS, MALICIOUS and DEFAMATORY response below is baseless in their claim(s).. seems all negative reviews are attacked until they are removed but I am choosing not to be bullied into doing so.. hence, they will hav to be made to correct their LEGALLY DAMAGING AND PERSECUTORY REMARKS.. I will say the $4O should hav been 4O%? (but hey Im a blonde and cant add right..) all I know is I charged money and gav cash money totalling over $8O.. like $85 and still the haircut (a Trim!) was awful when I got home and tried to style it the next day.. Truth is that "tasha D" wasnt even there, and has now produced, (in writing) what I was told is a retalitory response about "derogatory remarks".. I was advised she does this as a woke ruse to any negative comments about them, because they dont want you to know about their haphazard schedule or terrible service.. my two stars is now one.. I suffer from thinning hair, but Hannah took care of me and made me as gorgeous as can be. She asked what I had in mind and gave some helpful suggestions without pressuring me. After the cut she also offered product and again, no pressure. I like that. The price was super reasonable, so tip big people. The online scheduling was super easy and you get a lot of reminders, so you can't possibly forget your appointment. This salon is located in a building with a collection of tiny beauty shops and such, which confused me a bit at my first visit. Once you enter though, just find her suite, which is to in the hallway going left. The suite numbers are listed atop the doors. I am glad to have found her and will certainly be back. read more

If you're in need of a refresh -- GO TO TASHA! She's the best. Not only is she a great stylist, but she's fun and listens carefully. I've only been there twice and honestly I cannot wait to go back. For me, my cut was a dramatic change, and to be honest I have not had this many compliments on my hair in years. She colored, highlighted and completely changed my style in one short afternoon. My family and I moved to Indianapolis in the summer of 2014. My husband got his first haircut here at a barber salon and disliked the experience so much that he would not go back. Meanwhile, I started searching for a place to get my own hair cut and ended up bringing my son with me. Now my whole family comes here. The people at the shop are always super friendly, no matter who is there. The shop is clean and looks nice. It looks modern without being over-the-top. We usually book appointments with Hannah, who is super good with my son (at seven years old, he is very particular and very talkative). Hannah is always friendly and smiling. I love the cuts she gives so much that, earlier today, I sat in her chair and said, "I want to do something new with my hair, do what you think will look good," and the cut looks AWESOME. Although I've never had my hair cut by Tasha, I've seen her do some wonderful cuts, too. She's also always welcoming and friendly. The pricing here is AMAZING. When I looked at the prices the first time, I expected average or slightly subpar cuts but that is NOT what you get. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends. read more

The hairstylist used to work at a crummy place down the road but she was so great. I was thrilled to find out that she opened her own salon! Trimz is a great place. They do great color services - I go back regularly for grays. There are a few other stylists that work there, and everyone seems to be quality. One reason I like this place is that they can do such a variety. My husband goes here, I go here, and she also does ethnic varieties of hair, which is really fun because there are such a diverse group of clients coming in and out. The last time I was there the owners dad was in and he was a hoot! The classic older gentleman talking to everyone and flirting with the ladies. Cracked me up!!! I love this place! Will not be returning. I've always had a fear of hair stylists taking unwanted liberties on my hair, and today that fear took fruit. The last two times here were sub-par, but this took the cake. Beyond stylist having a disrespectful manner toward me due to some confusion, I lost 6" of hair. I was eagerly working on maintaining my hair's health and growing it out, and came for a trim after 6 months (due to Covid). I lost more than the amount agreed upon and basically the amount that had grown since my last healthy chop. It was also uneven. Conditioner scent was also so strong that quickly I realized I couldn't breathe very well and had to wash my hair again. Make sure you are extremely specific to your needs and stand up for yourself if you get your hair trimmed here. Also be careful with the website, for it's a bit confusing. read more

After many years of just ok haircuts I was introduced to this magical place. I drove 30 minutes because their reviews were amazing. Best decision I ever made for my hair! Their new location allows you to really interact with Tasha or Hannah and because of the smaller environment, you never feel like you're being rushed. Once I explained to them my vision for my hair, they ran with it and gave me one of the best, if not the best, haircut experiences of my life. They gently wash your hair before every haircut, unless you're not feeling it. They're very friendly and always up to having random conversations. If you go on a Tuesday, haircuts are only $12! I don't see myself switching hair salons anytime soon and although it's a bit of a drive for me, it's worth if for the excellent experience! read more

Wow!!!! Wish I could give 10 stars! I was looking to get a trim but it seemed like every salon I researched had either hefty prices ($30-$40 a haircut), terrible reviews, or both. I stumbled upon Trimz because of a coupon they were offering for 50% off any service and after reading their positive reviews on Yelp!, decided to try it. I was completely blown away! Salon: The salon is very clean and looks brand new inside. The washing station is in a relaxing, dimly lit area. The stylists use Paul Mitchell products so not only are you getting a great haircut but also get to try out new products. From my experience, the stylists suggest products and let you know what they sell but they do not push them on you every five minutes like at other places. Stylist: Sabrina was my stylist and she was great. Very nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. It really seemed like she knew what she was doing. She cut off exactly how much she said she would, which is really important to me since I'm trying to grow out my hair. Overall, I had one of the best haircut experiences of my life and their prices really sweeten the deal ($16 for wash and cut, woah)!
