Scott arrived early, June 16 for his appointment.  I needed 2 toilets changed out. New ones sitting…read moreon the carport.  He moved one over to one side (small bathroom) so I could paint the wall behind it.  He then took the other old one (large bathroom) outside and brought a new one in. By himself. I finished painting and checked on his progress. He was tightening the bolts on that one (large bathroom), said he'd hurt his back. I told him I could help lift them,  to let me know. He commented that he has back problems. He said the flange under the toilet he'd just set was really high. ‍ He started on the next one in the small bath. It had been leaking between the toilet and the tank. He said he thought he could fix it without changing it out. I said ok. The new seal didn't work, it continued to leak. He said his back was killing him, he needed to leave and come back.  As he left, he said he'd let me know asap when he'd be back.  He charged me for the one toilet (large bath).  Within 3 days it was rocking.  I bought shims and tried to keep it straight and stable until he came back.   I sent him 3 nice texts asking if he was better and to let me know when he was coming back. He said the week after the 4th of July. He never called or texted. I left 2 voicemails.  He finally answered that he was out of town and would be back the following week. He would call to set up an appointment. That visit would have been the 3rd week in July. The first week in August, 6 weeks after his visit and tired of rebalancing a rocking toilet, I found someone to fix both of them. I had to pay another plumber to fix the rocking toilet and to swap out the 2nd one. The toilet rocked due to the flange. He had left it balanced precariously on the flange and an assortment of nylon shims. That issue was addressed,  the toilet set properly, squared up with the cabinet and tub, not rotated to the left as Scott had left it. The other toilet (small bathroom) was still leaking between tank and toilet. That toilet was changed out and sits squarely. I had an unstable toilet that rocked and moved and another I couldn't use at all for 6 weeks. I would expect a licensed plumber with 30 years experience to properly fix the toilet. The total lack of communication was also a disappointment.

About a month later when my plunging didn't fix the problem, I snaked the toilet and pulled out a piece of a plastic clothes hanger I had used to "snake" it with months prior. I used Elemental plumbing in an emergency situation. He came out the same day and quoted us a price…read morethen left us without running water for 4 days causing us to have to go to a hotel. Then when he finally did show up he dug up half of our yard then broke the excavator he then informed me that he would have to wait till the next day when a repairman could be sent out to fix it this was at 3:30pm. So the next am at 830 am I was on the phone making sure someone was coming and they informed me that there was not a service call put in for that equipment. But they would put me in for one. Once it was repaired the job was finished in 3 hours, with no extra work needed than he had originally quoted. At the end of day 2 he left the job site and left his two workers to wait for me to return with payment. But had still not left an invoice. So I text him asking for one and the amount I needed to pay his employee. He then gave a Inflated amount adding another 1800. I text him back telling him I would send the originally quoted amount that I needed an itemized invoice and the pictures I had asked for earlier to pay the remaining balance. A week later I had received nothing from his end. When I suddenly received a text threatening a lein on my house. I asked for an invoice again he refused. Then suddenly he responded by saying "his lawyer" told me to give me an invoice ....... I guess another scare tactic. Then the following Friday he showed up at bar that I was checking IDs at and was hammered. He later was escorted out by the police at close and fell flat on his face. Hearing nothing from him after wards I assumed he must have realized what a jack he must have been. Boy was I wrong I stead he went to my sisters employer who had nothing to do with the "unpaid" job and told her he hoped that the unpaid balance didn't interfere with his ability to work for her. Now this is two different jobs completely unrelated in every way. He then discussed my finances with my sisters boss who then pays the unpaid balance. So he scammed someone completely unrelated to unpaid balance to pay the debt instead of just sending me the invoice I had been aaking for. When I found out about this I sent him along text asking him how he even thought doing this was okay. He then responded with I'm not reading all of that and then said your debt has been paid. Have. Good night. He sees nothing wrong with his course of action. This man is completely okay with running his business unethical bc he has no moral compass himself.
