Somebody two doors down from my drive up 12 x 24 unit same as unit I rented got broken into and took $4000 worth of electric bikes. Sheriffs reported happens more often than , Has absolutely zero security though she claimed she had security which turns out not to be true?! I made her aware and said she would handle it, yet a Week after they attempted to break in, still no new protective hardware that is secure to prevent further break-ins.. owner Wendy has a very tone deaf, nonchalant, attitude about it. All in all, very disappointed in Poor Customer Service, without customers why have a business, you might as well hand it over to somebody that will run it properly!! Think twice about putting your valuables here as It is a slumlord storage!

I returned it the following day at 3:30pm which was 24 hours after I picked the truck up. The store was already closed when I returned the vehicle and it wasn't supposed to be until 4pm so I parked the truck and left the keys in the drop box. The next time I checked my credit card statement, I noticed that I was overcharged by about 60 dollars. I called to resolve the issue, but the man on the phone, Mr. Quaid, insisted that I was mistaken and would not reduce my charges. If you need storage space or a truck rental in the Weaverville area, I would try find another option that U-Haul, and avoid giving these people your credit card.

I attempted to be a customer here about two weeks ago. Probably the worst services I experienced in…read morea long time. I called in to see if they had any units available. The lady on the phone tells me they have two, I'm like great can I reserve one, I will be there after work (few hrs from then). They said sure, took my name and quoted me the price. I get there after work and the lady at the front desk tells me, they actually didn't have any units available and it was a "clerical error" and she wished she could have called me back, but did not have my number. I'm like well... OK mistakes happen, can you call me when one comes available. The next morning, I received a call from the same lady saying "hey a unit will be available within the hour, someone is moving out." I'm like OK great I will be down this afternoon. About two hrs later I received another call saying the unit was ready but the front desk would be closing soon, leaving no time for me to actually get there. Funny thing, I was quite honestly awaiting a call saying the unit wasn't available and some excuse, but that came the next morning. A different woman called me, the next morning, to say the unit was not available and that it was a "clerical error" because the tenant had paid for the whole month and she had not moved out(wait what?). Than she offered to put me on the list should a unit comes available. Umm NO Thank you! It was very disappointing considering their high reviews. This could have been a clerical error or something else not uncommon to this area. Either way, it was very UNPROFESSIONAL. I couldn't trust my belongings with someone who couldn't keep track of their units. We surely took our business elsewhere.
