I have finally found my go-to contractor in Houston! Daniel, the owner, responded to my request for a quote within two hours asking for photos of the drywall in need of repair (one area cleanly cut by a plumber, and the other with some water damage due to Harvey). He gave me a reasonable estimate and was willing to work with me on price to help fit the repair into my budget. After scheduling the repair to work with MY schedule, Daniel and his crew showed up right on time and got straight to work. They were not only very skilled and efficient in completing the job, but were also friendly, honest, and cleaned up after themselves. They easily were able to replicate the texture in my ceiling for the patched drywall and literally made it look like nothing had ever happened! I am very pleased with the finished work and I am even more delighted to hear that Up To Date Decor not only does contract work (no project too big or too small!) but has also extended their services to cover home maintenance. Five stars is not enough to indicate the fantastic job Daniel and his guys did for me. I was having a leak in my ceiling and not only did they fit me into their busy schedule, they were able to complete what should have been a week's job in four days (from removing bad pipes to texturing and painting). Every step of the way, Daniel showed me what the problems were and how they were going to fix it to ensure this would never happen again. After each day of work, the crew would stick around and sweep/mop so that I was the least inconvenienced mid-project. Everyone showed up on time and were very considerate to cover everything with a dust cloth so the mess was contained. Look no further if you are in need of a reliable, reasonable contractor. Daniel and his team went above and beyond with my home repairs. They are professional, hard-working, and honest. They repaired deep settling cracks in the ceiling and walls and you can't tell the cracks were ever there. They also did interior and exterior caulking and painting and power washed the outside. Daniel keep me aware with estimates and stuck to them and the time schedule. I appreciate their skill, desire to deliver up to the customer's expectations, and prompt, punctual service. If I could give these guys 10 stars I would. They went above and beyond my expectations. Daniel is a perfectionist and I love that about him. They built a new wall and door frame to enclose a dining room and it looks fantastic. They matched every tiny detail to the original walls/doors that it looks like it was built with the house. These guys are fantastic! They came to the rescue when my wife and I were selling our home and came across a last minute disaster! Where most plumbers were unfamiliar with working on a residential plumbing manifold, they were able to not only replace it expeditiously, but did it at a reasonable price considering the rush.
