We spent a bit of time here and was able to get the materials that allowed us to cut hours out of this project. The store was really short on product though. Even though we found what we needed it was a hunt... there were empty places everywhere in here so we had to alter what we wanted due to our of stocks. The service is good. They have all these young girls very eager to serve and very friendly so I did enjoy that quite a bit. There was great selection of clearance items and as a small business owner, I was very excited to grab a lot of of the yarns on clearance value absolutely wonderful I picked up all of the yarn that retail at $13-$15 for five dollars apiece. What I also like is that they sent me discount coupons and vouchers anytime I make a purchase and so I was able to use a $15 voucher and pretty much picked. Jan was $100 for $15. I've ordered online and done store pickup or curbside but I've ended up having to go inside the store to pick up the purchase after all which didn't take that long. I provided them with my name and that was it. They hold your items for a good while and curbside pickup daily stops at 6pm. If you are there after 6, you can still pick up your item, just go in the store. I've also had the pleasure of taking one of the classes held virtually.

Be aware that some paints are not dishwasher safe. You'll know by confirming with an employee or if there's a specific letter in the paint numbers of your paint tube. You can grab an apron to avoid paint on yourself. If you do get paint on yourself it's able to be washed out but I didn't want to try it. There's one hand wash station where you will also drop off your used paint tiles and paint brushes. Once you get the run down on what to do from an employee you're on your own. There's a display that shows how your paint will look on your pottery depending on if you do 1-3 coats of paint. Time will fly quickly so I painted as much as I could and went over areas a lot. You can have finished pottery shipped to you but it could be more cost-effective to have one person pick up all the pottery if you have multiple and ship it yourself. When you pick up your pottery you'll get to carry it out in the store's new reusable bag. It was very cute. There's not much parking outside but that's the area for you. It's a fun activity to do with a group. Sometimes there might be no conversation going depending on how focused people are on painting but it's also a good time to unwind and turn your brain off.

Parking is a little difficult because it's not close to the main Downtown Alpharetta Parking lot - so if you have little kids that aren't easy to contain or don't want to walk far you have to hunt. I parked right off the street (but I got lucky). Give yourself some time to find parking. We walked in and the girl behind the counter was very friendly and super helpful. She explained to my kids what to do in a way that was engaging and they listened. All the ceramics to paint were on the walls grouped by category for the most part. Both of mine painted boxes - $26/$28. My friends painted a light switch and flower - $12/$15 You pick your piece then head to the paint wall and pick up the colors - they suggest no more than 3 colors but it's up to you what and how much. They did say the more "coats of paint" the better it'll look when it's fired. We painted and talked and enjoyed ourselves. Four items came to about $95 which is perfectly fine for an afternoon activity that you then get to keep later. We went on a Wednesday, our pieces will be ready on a Wednesday (so about a week). Naturally my favorite gifts were those that were personalized with my name. This shop monograms, shirts, hats, ties, cuffs, pillows etc. If you can imagine it they probably can monogram it. When you walk into this shop, you don't just see a bunch of cute items hanging around, you see women at work. It was like a little front room factory with examples of work completed. They also do screen printing which is great for family reunion shirts, athletic t-shirts or commemorative/celebration tees. Monogramming just adds that perfect touch to any garment or appropriate item. Father's Day is just around the corner so monogramming those golf towels or any sports related gear would probably be appreciated. This little shop is located in the Kohl's shopping center.
