You don't have to worry about parking except more of the traffic getting in and out of the strip mall. --Ambience-- Similar to other hobby stores, Michaels has a huge variety from fabrics to various other hobbies like wood, holiday decorations, etc. Cashier at the front of the store can vary in organized to disorganized based on the store. This was a clean environment. --Service/Staff-- The staff varies per location from knowledge to newly hired associate. --Products/Service-- Recommended to check the inventory on the website if you are looking for something specific. This is one of the larger Michaels and stocks various items located on their website. --Capacity-- Indoor capacity can hold 100+ people during a Black Friday rush hour. --Overall-- Great location and plenty of parking. I recommend visiting, but check the website before hand for inventory if you are looking for something specific.

The service is good. They have all these young girls very eager to serve and very friendly so I did enjoy that quite a bit. There was great selection of clearance items and as a small business owner, I was very excited to grab a lot of of the yarns on clearance value absolutely wonderful I picked up all of the yarn that retail at $13-$15 for five dollars apiece. What I also like is that they sent me discount coupons and vouchers anytime I make a purchase and so I was able to use a $15 voucher and pretty much picked. Jan was $100 for $15. I'm definitely a Happy shopper.

I've gotten frames, sketch books, canvas, paint, drawing pencils, pens, jewelry making, and yarn. Their selection of drawing items are pretty good. I've ordered online and done store pickup or curbside but I've ended up having to go inside the store to pick up the purchase after all which didn't take that long. I provided them with my name and that was it. They hold your items for a good while and curbside pickup daily stops at 6pm. If you are there after 6, you can still pick up your item, just go in the store. I've also had the pleasure of taking one of the classes held virtually.

This Michael is located on W. Crossville road...aka...highway 92...aka Holcomb Bridge. (I don't know why roads in Georgia will just randomly change names for no reason. It's super annoying) It's across the street from Trader Joe's and next to Khol's. There is also a McDonald's and an Atlanta Bread Company nearby. The store itself is massive. It's got everything you can think of from yarns to wraths to shadowboxes to t-shirt paint to cake decorating icings. It's pretty much a one stop shop for the crafty person. I also like the sales people that work here. They're pretty helpful and if I don't know exactly what I'm looking for (which is more than half the time) they will guide me to the right aisle. I always leave a happy camper and got no complaints. Thanks guys and next time I get into a crafty mood...I'll be stopping by....

I asked if they would kindly type in my credit card information as I had a picture on it. They said they cannot do that. Even though all of this was frustrating the reason I am writing this review was because the woman who walked over just had an attitude about the whole situation and provided no solutions and was not helpful the least bit... She basically implied too bad. It just really blows my mind. The lack of customer service people have these days. I will definitely not be going back to this hobby lobby. What is even funnier? Be sure to watch the sales... some days this group of stuff is on sale and other days a different group of stuff... but some kind of STUFF is always on sale. If it isn't the stuff you want.. wait a week most likely the stuff you want will be soon. Don't come here thinking your going to just get the stuff you were looking for. Oooooh no! There is always other stuff you will find... and then there will be that stuff that just seems to jump in your cart... and once you get home you'll be saying what am I going to do with this stuff?!? In the end you'll add it to the stuff you have and eventually head back here to get more stuff... it's inevitable. This place should really be called the stuff stuff and more STUFF warehouse!

Be aware that some paints are not dishwasher safe. You'll know by confirming with an employee or if there's a specific letter in the paint numbers of your paint tube. You can grab an apron to avoid paint on yourself. If you do get paint on yourself it's able to be washed out but I didn't want to try it. There's one hand wash station where you will also drop off your used paint tiles and paint brushes. Once you get the run down on what to do from an employee you're on your own. There's a display that shows how your paint will look on your pottery depending on if you do 1-3 coats of paint. Time will fly quickly so I painted as much as I could and went over areas a lot. You can have finished pottery shipped to you but it could be more cost-effective to have one person pick up all the pottery if you have multiple and ship it yourself. When you pick up your pottery you'll get to carry it out in the store's new reusable bag. It was very cute. There's not much parking outside but that's the area for you. It's a fun activity to do with a group. Sometimes there might be no conversation going depending on how focused people are on painting but it's also a good time to unwind and turn your brain off.

We settled on All Fired Up in Alpharetta because it was inside but most importantly it was an activity...10 & 7 year olds only have so much of an attention span when hanging out with adults 60+.... I looked online and they suggested reserving a table to make sure you had space BUT the reservation date window was closed online - they want you to do it 3 days in advance (I was 2 days), so I called... They reserved us a table easy peasy. Parking is a little difficult because it's not close to the main Downtown Alpharetta Parking lot - so if you have little kids that aren't easy to contain or don't want to walk far you have to hunt. I parked right off the street (but I got lucky). Give yourself some time to find parking. We walked in and the girl behind the counter was very friendly and super helpful. She explained to my kids what to do in a way that was engaging and they listened. All the ceramics to paint were on the walls grouped by category for the most part. Both of mine painted boxes - $26/$28. My friends painted a light switch and flower - $12/$15 You pick your piece then head to the paint wall and pick up the colors - they suggest no more than 3 colors but it's up to you what and how much. They did say the more "coats of paint" the better it'll look when it's fired. We painted and talked and enjoyed ourselves. Four items came to about $95 which is perfectly fine for an afternoon activity that you then get to keep later. We went on a Wednesday, our pieces will be ready on a Wednesday (so about a week). We had fun. We have a keepsake. And it wasn't blazing hot while we were hanging out with family friends Win win
