I used to work at a full line Nordstrom years ago, so I know quality when I see it. That's why I love the Rack because you can always expect good brands at better prices than you'd find at the full line store. To some people, Nordstrom Rack still feels a little pricey for a discount store, but you really have to compare it to the original full line price tags. I live in the NoDa area, and I will say this location was a bit farther out than I expected, about 25 minutes from my house. I was honestly surprised that there isn't a Nordstrom Rack closer to the city. This one is more on the outskirts, which is fine, but it does make quick trips or exchanges a little less convenient. Yes, you can return items at the full line Nordstrom, but sometimes you just want to browse and see what's new. Parking here was easy, and the store itself was clean and well organized. Coming from Houston and then Florida, I wasn't used to seeing so many coats in stock, so that actually caught my attention. They had a big winter selection, and I ended up leaving with a super cute trench coat, a puffer jacket, and a couple of other cold weather pieces since I know Charlotte winters are going to be colder. The staff was about as friendly as you'd expect at a Nordstrom Rack, but they moved quickly, and the checkout line wasn't long. I travelled to Charlotte on business and visited Paul Simon. I shopped at Paul Simon about 5 years ago and was impressed with their staff and selection. I ended up purchasing a Corneliani suit and having it shipped to me after alterations. Chris was a big help and made sure the alterations were going to be perfect. This is a great store that provides top priority to their customers and does a nice job understanding exactly what you are looking for. I can send photos of the brands they carry and now that they have my measurements, I can easily have the goods mailed to me.

Both Elma and Cheryl directed me to new scents that are similar. These two women appear to like to work and really know their department. I went to Macys, Dillards, and Neiman Marcus first. Nordstroms has the best workers. I did not do any price comparisons but Cheryl and Elma made my experience so fun, pleasant, and time efficient that I am definitely going back. They were coming up with ways to help me remember the different scents. It is important for a woman to experience the scent on her skin a few hours later.

We both said thank you and started walking around. After about 5 minutes another customer came in and was helped immediately. He was just picking up something so it was quick. That sales person never looked at me. Another salesman walked in and said hello. Next thing I know he was straightening shirts. At this point my husband is fed up and ready to go. As we are leaving, we hear- have a good night. We would have had a good night if we could have purchased a suit!!!! Went to a different place ( MW are the initials) Greeted right away. Clothing is shipped promptly and returns can be done right at the store. Don't forget to bring your receipt if you return because the return process takes longer without your receipt. These ladies are super patient and willing to help. I don't hesitate to go back. It is one of the largest Torrid stores I have ever been to compared to Concord Outlets, Charlotte Premium Outlets and an Orlando, FL store. By the time I found someone she told me "oh if you're really that size and you're sure we can order it online for you but I don't think we have it in store." She didn't bother to check and doubted that I was the size I said I am. I looked at her and was like "thanks but I'll just order online. I'm the same size I've always been." And I quickly left. How. Rude. The store was not very busy and it was around 1pm so there was no reason for attitude.
