I came during thanksgiving/christmas and the decorations are very nice. They have signage for a variety of holiday events happening (pics of your dog and Santa etc). There is a food court, shake shack, and Starbucks. My kids love the small play structure. It is very small and probably only entertaining for kids 4 and younger. I appreciate the clean bathrooms inside the food court- especially the family restrooms which has a small toilet for kids.

I used to work at a full line Nordstrom years ago, so I know quality when I see it. That's why I love the Rack because you can always expect good brands at better prices than you'd find at the full line store. To some people, Nordstrom Rack still feels a little pricey for a discount store, but you really have to compare it to the original full line price tags. I live in the NoDa area, and I will say this location was a bit farther out than I expected, about 25 minutes from my house. I was honestly surprised that there isn't a Nordstrom Rack closer to the city. This one is more on the outskirts, which is fine, but it does make quick trips or exchanges a little less convenient. Yes, you can return items at the full line Nordstrom, but sometimes you just want to browse and see what's new. Parking here was easy, and the store itself was clean and well organized. Coming from Houston and then Florida, I wasn't used to seeing so many coats in stock, so that actually caught my attention. They had a big winter selection, and I ended up leaving with a super cute trench coat, a puffer jacket, and a couple of other cold weather pieces since I know Charlotte winters are going to be colder. The staff was about as friendly as you'd expect at a Nordstrom Rack, but they moved quickly, and the checkout line wasn't long. Overall, this location was consistent with the other Nordstrom Racks I've been to. No surprises, just the usual dependable Rack experience. I'd definitely return.

More than any other boutique, Boem seems to have the most variety of big, bold necklaces...exotic tribal styles, statement pieces, etc.etc. You're sure to find something cute (in apparel or accessories) during your excursion here. Some of the items look like pieces you could wear to concerts or events like Coachella. The layout is easy to navigate - bralettes and crop tops at the front, jeans and shorts in the center on tables, skirts and dresses on the left side of the wall, tops and outerwear mixed in at the back and in the center across from the registers, and shoes on the right side of the shop. Staff greeted everyone warmly and told us to let them know if we had questions or needed help. I was there to browse. While I didn't see anything this trip, it was a pleasant space - perhaps not my style of clothing, but they had some great pieces. Although I didn't find the color I needed, I knew I wanted to come back. When I finally came back to shop, I had such a wonderful experience! I was greeted warmly, had a fitting room started for me, and was tempted to buy half the store! I came back another day for some pieces I didn't purchase the previous time, but they were gone :( There's a sort of thrill and disappointment at seeing the limited availability. Creates a sort of shopping rush to the experience! However, I did notice not all the staff are as warm as I experienced on my first shopping experience there. The last time I went, one staff member, short hair and bright blue contacts, wouldn't even make eye contact with me, and hardly spoke a word.

The site described that it is a consignment store that sells a mix of new and consignment clothing for women, children, and some home items. The windows displayed some luxury brand items and packaging, which was quite impressive. Staff greeted everyone warmly when you entered and they were happy to help out. I decided to browse on my own and enjoyed looking through the racks at my own leisure. Most of the brands I saw were some for a little older demographic at the time, but there were some familiar names like Chloe, Zara, and others. I liked how there was a clear division to show what side the consignment items were on and which side the newer items were on. (Right side of the store for the former and left for the latter.) While I didn't walk out of there with anything, it was fun looking. Parking options are street parking or finding a lot.
