I come to several sneaker stores in this mall and none of them have the latest releases. The associates weren't very helpful. No one greeted me when I walked in. There were about 5 associates there working and only four customers in the store. I finally had to walk up to an associate and ask my question. The women's section of the store is small. They have more kids and men's selection but little women's which sucks. The amount of clothes were sparse. Some tracks only had about 5 items on it. Not sure if I would come back here especially for the latest women's items.

Although I didn't find the color I needed, I knew I wanted to come back. When I finally came back to shop, I had such a wonderful experience! I was greeted warmly, had a fitting room started for me, and was tempted to buy half the store! I came back another day for some pieces I didn't purchase the previous time, but they were gone :( There's a sort of thrill and disappointment at seeing the limited availability. Creates a sort of shopping rush to the experience! However, I did notice not all the staff are as warm as I experienced on my first shopping experience there. The last time I went, one staff member, short hair and bright blue contacts, wouldn't even make eye contact with me, and hardly spoke a word.

I gave one star based on the customer service that I received. I went to buy a watch and some…read morejewelry which were inside a locked cabinet. There was only one sales lady at 8 pm of that day. I first had to wait in line to tell her to open the cabinet. Then till she took care of customers return and check-out, before she could come to get those items for me. Then she walked back to the check-out counter & told me to line up after at least 6-7 customers. I asked I was waited prior to get the merchandise and I had to wait again. She said yes. I think that's not good customer service to make someone waited for twice in line. Sound like a punishment to someone who needed her extra service. Sorry for my feeling about that. Just put herself into a customer's position.

This outlet truly has endless, high-quality pieces for a lot less than what you'd pay at a regular department store. The store is always neat and well organized, with a great selection of shoes and clothing. I honestly can't count how many pieces I've picked up over the years. I like to get there as soon as they open so I can take my time browsing before it gets crowded--you can really look around and not feel rushed. I learned my lesson once when I saw something and thought, "Maybe next time." There was no next time, lol. Things move fast here, and the inventory is constantly changing. I recently grabbed a pajama set from here for a trip, and everyone loves them. They were super cute, only $14.99, and when I tell you they are comfortable--I love them! I've gotten tops, shoes, dresses... you name it. I also really like their selection of bathing suits. If you're a bit top-heavy, it might not be the best fit since they sometimes forget about those of us with a little more up top (lol), but the colors are vibrant and fun. The shoe section is one of my favorites as well. We brought our mom one time, and she walked out with 10 pairs of shoes for under $150--yes, seriously! And these were quality, name-brand shoes. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I'd definitely recommend setting aside at least two hours so you can take your time and really go through the store. After letting the cashier know it was missing, she looked at the computer and said, "oh. Yeah, it was cancelled." I told her I never received a notification of it being cancelled and she said, "well, we don't have it, that's why." I asked to get the same item in store but in a different color since it was a bundled purchase as part of a promotion. She said okay. I quickly went, found the item, and took it up to her at the register, where she CHARGED ME FOR IT. I asked why I was being charged if I had already paid for the item and she said I will get my other item's refund in 7-10 business days. I paid and left. When I got home, I received a notification that my item still hadn't been picked up in store. ???????? I called customer care and they said they couldn't do anything about it and to call the store. I called the store and they said the same thing and that customer care should have handled it. So now, either my item or my money (or both) are floating around somewhere and there's no one who knows how to just cancel the item and reimburse me.

Anyways went to the customer service desk after entering the store and waited for 5 or so mins while associate was helping another gentleman. While standing there a male associate named Phillip approached me and asked if I was wanting to return an item. I stated yes I was and he stated, and I quote " well you're going to have to go get in the back of the line, we can't have you cutting in front of all these other people". I explained to him that a week prior that I went to desk at first like you do anywhere else and that I was not aware I needed to get in the purchase line. He continued to walk behind me and follow me to the line after I told him I did not appreciate him accusing me of breaking in line as I was not aware this was the expectation . He was super rude and has no place working with the public with his terrible and condescending attitude. Spoke with manager Chandra and she stated she would speak with him, but I assume it will not be handled as she stated this was not typical of him. After reading several reviews on here with similar complaints maybe it's just the culture of the Gastonia store. I will not be back . Attached is the signage that clearly states what I did, just to be treated and talked to like trash.
