You walk in to a clean, modern and professional tattoo shop. I filled out a one page release, met my artist, saw the design, and took a seat. Granted, this was my first tattoo. I truly had no idea what to expect regarding my pain tolerance. More significantly, I was anxious how the finished product would turn out. Didn't happen. The lady working there, 50-ish with a tiny "managerial looking" pony tail, not only was extremely rude and insulting to me, but proceeded to lecture me on my body jewelry choices. I mean really, her job is to sell things to customers, not to make lifestyle demands upon other people. Luckily, I'm nicer than she, and just walked away instead of treating her the same way she treated me, but I will never be back.
