Getting a bad tattoo artist is never funny, so I did a bit of research and found this place where everyone knows what they're doing and won't have you on the verge of tears when seeing the result. I had Sean do this peace and I was more than impressed with the preparation process, his genuine involvement in adding to the sentiment of the entire experience, level of cleanliness, and the overall heart-warming energy. This guy is great at lettering, and replicated what I wanted to get to the T. I would let this guy plagiarize for me any day. Perfect flare-out on each letter, the needle didn't hurt at ALL (light-handed as can be), and now that it's healed I see that each line was laid in at a perfect depth. No scarring either. I like to do my own tattoos, but I'm happy to know I now have someone I can trust to tattoo where it's difficult to reach. I got my very first tattoo with P before he had his own shop, then got my second one right after he opened up here. Both times were so awesome because he's so good, makes you feel comfortable, and does amazing work. But lemme tell ya, my first tat was on my side and when he was almost done and working on the tip of the horn, that hurt soooo bad. But the funny thing is, for the next 30-45 minutes I asked how much longer? and every time P goes "5 more minutes." "almost done.." "you're on the last color." He's lyyyyiinnnggg! It's hilarious looking back on it. My most recent (3rd) tattoo was with Tomi. This girl is AMAZING! I didn't bother her too much when she was setting up, cause I would want to focus on what I was doing too. But once the tattoo started, she got the worst part out of the way and everything else was a breeze. We talked through the whole thing and this was probably my best experience anywhere. The whole shop is SO clean, so much beautiful artwork, and the artists were amazing. Once I left there I went to work where a client was also from Texas and asked to take a photo of my tattoo because she loved it so much! All in all, nothing but amazing work comes from this shop. I spent a long time searching for the perfect tattoo shop to get a memorial tattoo for my son I lost. I came across the owner P on Instagram and knew I wanted him to do my tattoo. I gave him a few examples of water color tattoos and he gave me suggestions and ideas for placement. When I arrived for my appointment I was in awe over the building setup and that they had private rooms unlike other shops I had seen. The shop was very clean and P was very professional. P is a great artist, but that's about all that can be said for the quality of this place. I've had several pieces done at this shop, but his lack of preparation and proper scheduling has lost my business. I attempted to set up an appointment on September 15th, only for him not to contact me back til October 11th! Then when he finally did offer me an appointment time for November 6th, I texted back within an hour of his text, only for him to take another 2 weeks to reply, to tell me he already booked that day!!! He then offered November 5th as a replacement date (sent the text at 11:45 PM, I replied at 6:00 AM the next morning), and told him that would be fine. Now, today, November 5th I text HIM to make sure we're still on for my appointment, for him to tell me, he's booked out all day!!! Offering me an appointment again 2-3 weeks from today!! You can't keep a customer when you're this shady at scheduling. my man needs to hire a secretary or buy a planner. Absolutely ridiculous. I never would've said anything about this had this not come up, but once when he did a tattoo on my forearm, a week later I got an infection where my arm was laying on the support, had to take a trip to the doctor and get antibiotics for it. Just make sure they clean their pieces and chairs before you sit down. That is, if you want to go through the hell that is scheduling an appointment date he won't blow you off on. If anyone doesn't believe me, I'd be glad to show you the text messages. Take your business elsewhere!!! (Update: his excuse for taking 2 weeks to reply to a text is that he's moving, and busy. His excuse for not giving me the time he offered, is he had already offered it to someone else... that must've replied faster than within an hour? guys a joke.) Posting this today on December 17th, now that I can assure myself that these are words of distaste and disgust rather than anger. I truly recommend finding someone else for your tattoos. I made a last minute call. I was too impatient to wait for an appointment, per the usual. I was referred to Paul. A super chill, laid back Californian! He was really patient while I debated with my thoughts on a font. He was careful with my placement which was awesome. The shop was clean and professional too.
