Was recommended this place by numerous people while out for dinner. Prices of cocktails are a lot higher than other surrounding bars. The drinks were good but there is not shazammmm to them. My waitress was not all that and rarely checked in. I paid a pretty penny and had about 6 drinks total until I had enough from the service. The waitress didn't know the menu and wasn't able to give any recommendations. They had some good drinks, but they were not drop on the floor omg delicious. I will say the most interesting drink they had was the dill with popcorn. Note, you can ask for more popcorn! It is made fresh daily. read more

You walk to fast and you will miss it. The only way I knew it was the right place was because of the single velvet rope outside. The inside is dimly lit and is decorated like a boudoir. I loved the Victorian decor mixed with modern touches. The menu has an extensive selection of champagne by the glass and bottle. They also have a selection of liquor and wines. In planning for a special event, the management team at UNTITLED were exceptional in working with me on both food selection and a 3 part Champagne flight. In particular, Nate Bueckert shared his knowledge, perspective and enthusiasm to ensure the perfect pairings. Exceeding my expectations, Nate made himself available to guide the champagne tasting which was especially appreciated by the guest of honour. His attention to detail included preparing a hand out with his own nose and tasting notes - it was a nice touch and souvenir to mark the special event. His passion and dedication to ensuring our experience was special was truly appreciated by the group. This place is made for those who love bubbles. Sure, like any lounge, they have a full bar, but you don't come to a place with Champaign in the title to drink beer do you? I noticed the swanky, Vegas-like feel right through the door. Giant black leather couches? Check! Intimate lightning? Check! Ornate picture frames with black and white photos? Check! Plus, the DJ spinning tunes in the corner. This lounge found its vibe and is sticking to it. The servers are great. They'll drop by your table every few minutes to make sure you have everything you need. Now for the real reason you go to a place with Champaign in the title! The bubbles! I'm pretty sure they had 4 pages of bubbles. Everything from a glass to French Champaign to French sparkling wine to American and Canadian Sparkling wine. You can get a bottle for as little as $50 or as much as $9,000! I'm not a bubbles expert by any means, but it seems like they can find something you'll like. My wife and i tired the Macaroons as well and weren't very impressed. The cookie portion was great. Light, fluffy, and just a hint of sweetness. However the filling was like eating a jolly rancher that has a texture of laffy-taffy. If you love those flavors, these might be the best macaroon you'll ever have, if not, i'd avoid them. I visited Untitled Lounge while visiting Calgary for the first time-- and I must say I was super impressed. Open the door and you walk into a dimly lit, laid back lounge with speakeasy vibes that somehow doesn't come off as pretentious. The staff provides you with outstanding service and ensures that your every need is taken care of. Drinks are great as well, particularly the smoky old fashioned. I did not get to try much of the food, but from what I had it was very enjoyable as well. Where Untitled really shines is its ambiance. It makes for fantastic conversation, with your friends and strangers alike-- the cozy, intimate atmosphere is perfect for group gatherings, dates, and anything of the like. Things I tried & liked: Monk Fashioned - The gin and vanilla really shine in this drink, it's smooth and tastes excellent. Champagne Mai Thai - Try it. The Grand Marnier really makes this drink; it's sweet without being too much. Absolutely loved it. Smoke - The intricate blend of scotch, whiskey, and cinnamon are all topped off with an excellent smoky finish. The presentation is absolutely sublime. This is not the spot to go to if you're looking for a bustling party scene-- you come to Untitled to meet new people, share drinks with friends, and to socialize in a relaxed setting. 5/5 I would recommend to a friend. read more

Fantastic selection of cocktails and bubbly, I've been to Untitled three times and each time the servers were exceptional. Very engaging helpful and made great suggestions when I requested help additional cocktails. Food worked perfectly as an appetizer. Savvy thought was put into the Decour and anywhere I sat was very comfortable. Also like the added touch of the music!! Not too loud so that I could continue Conversations with my guests. I visited this lounge for birthday drinks. I think this place is ideal for casual drinks before or after a meal, so don't go if you're wanting a full meal. The champagne options are endless, and if you're with a big group it's definitely worth it to spilt a bottle as single glasses can get expensive. Service was nice, atmosphere was neat but it's fairly dark so a little difficult to read the menu. All in all a neat place to stop by for a couple of fancy drinks. read more

I'll give this place one star because it has a super cool interior & is very nice but service sucked!!! I don't generally write reviews to complain about service but it was baaaaad. The waitress took our drink order and no joke came back TWO mins later to ask us if we wanted to order drinks..... uhhhh..... finished our drink and she didn't come back to take another order. So we got the bill and left. Not good. At least we can look back and laugh about this experience. read more

My husband and I came here to see our friend Justine play for jazz night. When we first walked in it totally reminded us of the prohibition bars went to in NYC. It was cozy and has great decor. The food was great, I'm a huge fan of bubbles so i found this place just perfect. The waitress was very tentative and the hostess was super sweet. We went on a night it was -30 in Calgary perfect place to spend a cold night out ;). I would defiantly come here again. read more

Rude. Pretentious. Terrible Service. My family decided to stop here for a drink after dinner out on Saturday. There were 8 of us in total, 6 "kids" (in our 30s) and our parents. The hostess was incredibly rude; looking us up and down and when we asked if we could come in for a drink (the place was completely empty) she was annoyed with the question. It was 8PM and they had a reservation at 9:30PM and didn't want to seat us. After we said we were just in for a drink, she said fine but you'll get your bill at 9PM and then you'll have to leave. We agreed (and should have left then), sat down and ordered our drinks. After 40 MINUTES our drinks arrived. In the time it took us to order and get our drinks a whopping 4 other patrons came into the establishment, ordered, and received their drinks. After getting our drinks we only had 15 mins to drinks them and pay, and the hostess kept walking by our table/couch area and animatedly looking at her watch. The drinks were good, the menu was interesting, the decor was beautiful, and had we had time to enjoy the drinks, and were treated with more respect, we may have enjoyed ourselves. As we were leaving, the hostess loudly commented to a bartender "oh good they're finally leaving". I have never left a bad review. This experience will be shared by all 8 of us, and none of us will ever be back. I actually hope this place doesn't stay in business. read more

I have been to two events planned for large (10+) groups here and both confirmed the same things. Firstly this place has really good drinks and the bartenders know what they are doing. There is a great selection of bubbles and cocktails and for the most part the staff are friendly enough. However the service is very slow and dreadfully disorganized. I would never plan an event here again. Despite the fact that on both occasions we had made bookings several months in advance, and that the management had helped us plan both nights, the staff seemed unprepared and disorganized when we actually got there. On the most recent experience our waitress was friendly but had no idea about the flights of champagne that we had organized in advance. Her descriptions of the selection were limited to where each was from and the colour of the actual champagne. This would not be disappointing normally but we were misled to believe that we would be doing a guided and curated tasting. The accompanying food that we had ordered (also planned in advance) was not set out when we arrived and was instead served towards the end of the visit. This again would be fine but it was quite a while between each tasting. Finally several of the girls in our group ordered non alcoholic drinks in addition to our drinks and those never came. Eventually the whole table was offered water but not until the latter part of the evening. Overall this place has a lot of potential but is not run professionally and the waiting staff seem inexperienced and incompetent for the caliber of service that they advertise. Hopefully they can improve because I would like to have a positive experience here in the future and plan future events. read more
