I have been coming here for the last several years, but today they have lost a client…read more A few days ago I scheduled an appointment for 10 am today. Over the weekend I received a voicemail asking if I could push my appointment to 11AM. I called this morning to follow up, but they confirmed my appointment was scheduled for 10 AM and expressed confusion about who called me to change it to 11. We confirmed that my appointment would be 10AM. I then came in 15 mins early and was coldly greeted at the desk when I checked in. I took a seat and waited for my name to be called. I waited 15 mins past my scheduled appointment, and during my this time the stylist assigned to me took a client that walked in after me. She was notified that I was waiting twice. She never once came to speak to me to let me know how much longer to wait. I got up to speak to someone at the desk to cancel, but no one was working the desk. I walked out. I tried to then call the front desk and was placed on hold for 5 minutes. Clearly, this establishment has issues with friendliness and with double booking. I shouldn't run into this much trouble for a simple haircut. I won't come back.

Then things lined up and I made the appointment . Sadly one of my dogs ended up passing away today and I almost canceled but something pushed me to go and I am so happy. Upon walking in I was greeted by the nicest man behind the desk he knew who I was right away and offered me a beverage and made me comfortable. I waited less than 5 minutes and met Pauline the owner who made me feel like a rock star and so welcome. She consulted with me and actually listened. Any doubt I had was wiped away, I than was taken to be shampooed (by the same gentleman from desk) and had the most amazing hot towel: head massage and shampoo ever. I wanted to melt in the chair. My haircut was amazing . She took her time and showed me exactly what she was doing and explained to me. I wasn't nervous at all and knew I was in great hands, I am beyond thrilled with my new look. I honestly am So grateful I met this team. The whole staff was wonderful. I didn't want to leave. I also want to add how much they do for rescue animals . I was floored. I can not recommend Casey enough. After 6 months of distressed quarantine hair, it was time for a change. She was so careful to listen to exactly what I wanted and used that information to recommend and create the perfect color combination. Blonde hair is very tough to perfect and also do so in a "healthy" way. She nailed it on the head (literally!) I was comfortable enough to tell her what I want and trusted her judgement when guiding me in the right direction. The woman (owner) did something COMPLETELY different. When I saw the results - she said it looked better than what I'd wanted. 1st - it did not look better (the lowlights were uneven and poorly distributed) and 2nd - I didn't want it! She said she would fix it, but when I called to reschedule, she sounded so unpleasant that I'd actually planned to take her up on her promise that I decided to go to another salon. My biggest complaint is that if she did not know what I really wanted, or if she thought something else would look better - she should have discussed it BEFORE applying the color.
