This was our second stop on a fun day in Muskegon on a Saturday afternoon. We were there after lunchtime, but far too early for dinner. It was pretty empty, but felt like a place that would be really fun when it's busier! You order drinks at at counter toward the back. We picked a high top table towards the back as well. Our table looked over a rail into a basement level, that reminded me of clubs back in college. It's a really cool old building. They have a pretty limited tap list for a brewery. I can't remember which beer I had, but I remember it being fine, not excellent. We didn't get food, so I can't comment on that. Since I really liked the space I would go back again if I was in the area, but I don't think it would draw me from out of town.

I just LOVE this brewery. This is my second time through and I already can't wait to come back. I love the layout and the overall vibe. My friend shares stories about his experience here pre-covid with all of the great bands. It sounds amazing! We decided to split a flight of beers, they have fantastic beers, and grab a few tags before heading to our next location. We will most certainly be back to Muskegon and spend a weekend. This is most certainly a destination town.

God, the potential of this place and its location! Muskegon is building a sweet downtown area and its awesome to have a brewery with a live music scene as an anchor. However, we visited as soon as they opened on a Saturday afternoon and it was like we caught them in the middle of some kind of depression or shortage. Five beers unavailable, no replacements; behind on their brewing. So, had to get a limited flight of whatever was left and it was fine, nothing to rave about. Didn't bother with the food, which was a separate entity within the same building, a rock n roll pizza shop. Looked cool though. Service was good, friendly tenders to talk to, and its a HUGE space. Live music stage looke awesome too, wanna come back to see a show. I also like to collect glasses or apparel from breweries I visit; no ah ah here. Coolest glass was for mug members and merch was scant at best. Not a normal size to be found or woven. Too bad, they have a cool logo and it would have been nice to rock a hoodie or tee. Ah well. Good on ya, Muskegon and good luck to Unruly and the rest of the area, hope ya'll make it!

I've been to Unruly a few times in the past for the live music they often host on weekends, but today I had a little time to kill (ie. am procrastinating) so figured I'd stop in for a quick beer. The first thing I realized upon entering at 2pm on a Friday is how spacious it is in here. I guess when a place is dark and full of people it tends to seem smaller. There were a few people sitting at the bar and a couple people shattered through the large tap room. A rebroadcast of yesterday's Tigers game is on TV, there appears to be a free popcorn, and classic punk tunes are playing at a modest volume; these are a few of my favorite things! I'm sipping on the 'Murican Brown Rye and it is quite tasty; rich yet drinkable with enough bitterness to balance it out! I appreciate that I can enjoy Unruly as much for a casual drink on a Friday afternoon as for a show on a Saturday night.

5 stars for the beer! I ate the popular Polynesian pizza but had it by the Slice and it was good but I give it 3 stars because a quality pizza shouldn't be sold by the slice and sitting in a oven that long. Potentially ruins the reputation. I'm sure the pizza is amazing fresh though and I'll definitely go back and try it. The space looked pretty rad with a massive live music stage. I'll be going back for sure.

The 1st beer with the pizza is the drunkle. The 2nd one is the foundry slag

It is a at the bar service. The different types are beer are great. I tried the foundry slag which is an American stout, and the drunkle which is a german amber. Both are really good. The prices are really low. I definitely recommend this place if you are in town for a business meeting like I am.

The food was great, the prices were fair, and the service was impeccable. Unfortunately, I failed to get any of the staff's names.

New menu, but it sucked. Staff were super rude, you can't be unruly at unruly apparently. Steer clear

If you're looking for a hotel in downtown Muskegon (close to music and wedding venues, hockey…read morearenas, restaurants, etc.) you can't go wrong with the Marriot Delta. Pros: + Loved that check out was at 12pm. That felt so luxuriously late! + The front desk staff was 11/10. Each of them (I think I encountered maybe five different employees during my weekend here) was friendly, acknowledged every guest warmly, had great suggestions and recommendations, were patient with questions, and did a fantastic job checking folks in and out effortlessly. Seriously, one of the best experiences I've had with a front desk staff at a hotel! + There's a Starbucks in the lobby (...but you can't use your Starbucks app to pay)! + There's a little room in the lobby with snacks, drinks, medicine, and beauty products for sale 24/7! Cons: - It's a very generic, very average-at-best hotel. - The room could have been much cleaner. - The bed could have been more comfortable. - The whole building could probably be modernized. - The noise was TERRIBLE. Despite filling out their online survey about my room preferences, I was given a fourth floor room across from the elevators. Between the street noise from the entrance and the heavily trafficked elevator hallway (and the all night rager that happened in the room next to mine)... It was loud. Finally, I saw a couple reviews mention that they were stingy with their water bottles. Bring your own reusable one; they've got refills stations on every floor!

Service is horrible! Bar manager didn't care we were watching game on TV. She shut it off and…read moretold us to watch TV in lobby, knowing that there was no remote for that TV. I won't be recommending work colleagues to stay in downtown Muskegon.
