After a couple of trips to bend we decided to finally check this spot out! So glad we did... who knew axe throwing was so much fun?! Nick was our guy who helped us out from start to finish and we were so pleased by how attentive he was with us in making sure we were comfortable, had our techniques down, and providing tips throughout. After a few attempts finally got the hang of it... became pretty addicting that my gf and i plan on checking an axe throwing place here close by home lol. The space itself is pretty big and plenty of space to accommodate multiple parties at a time. They serve beer, wine, and bar bites.. since we planned on grabbing food after we just grabbed a few beers. Overall we had so much fun and We plan on returning next time we visit bend again.

If you re into ax throwing or acting out your aggression this is a safe place to do it. Safety is their first concern even though you can Drink and axe throw at the same time:) Before the group begins there is a safety instruction and tips from the Managment. They also coach from time to time to make your session successful. We had a lot of fun throwing axes and even though there were not a lot of Bulleye's we still managed to make the axe stick. This is harder than it looks and certainly takes some concentration and practice to even hit the wood near the target. Some in our group were naturals. I would be not be counted in that group but did have fun. We were dining elsewhere so no comment on the food but there is a menu just didn't pay attention to it. Next time:)

At the entrance they have sanitizer station before check in and also at the counter. Everyone who will participate in axe throwing need to input their information and sign documents waivers before you are shown to your area which includes a table and a section with 2 different sizes of axes you can use. They rent it by the hour and you can order food and drinks from the counter and bring it to your area to eat and drink, only there you are allowed to remove your mask. Before anyone starts throwing the axe a staff explain and demonstrated the proper way of axe throwing and answers any questions you might have. While throwing the axe or ordering everyone needs to wear a mask. The staff all had mask on and after each group they clean up the area and sanitize everything before the next group get seated. Everyone enjoyed their time there and the staff was very helpful and friendly!

Best bachelor weekend activity ever!! Devyn, Sequana, Paige, and Javi are the crew!! It was our first time and they explained everything so thoroughly. Super friendly, fun, & exhilarating! We had a blast sipping on local ciders and crushing some axes today! This was the highlight of our weekend and blew away all expectations!! We will be back

Beer and Axes! I don't know what else there is to say! My wife and I were visiting some friends in Bend and taking in some amazing hikes and hitting the local breweries but after a few days we got a little bored. A quick Yelp search of entertainment in Bend lead me here and it did not disappoint. For a mere $25 you get a quick lesson on how to throw and cage for yourself and your friends with 2 targets and a variety of axes. There is nothing like taking a sip of an Oregon ale, rolling up your flannel sleeves and throwing a double handed axe from behind you back... then watching it bounce off the target. But after a few tries you get the hang of it and what a blast! There's nothing like sinking your axe into the target over and over and watching your friends fail. I may have to start calling myself Lumber Jack.

I have been to a lot of ax, throwing places, however, I did not enjoy this one. I did go for a special night where it was black light however, that has no effect on this review. When we went in it was business as usual however, once we got to Arlene, I could tell something was different here. It looks like they don't change out the targets at all as you can see in the photos it was very difficult for the axes to stick as there was so much wood missing from the targets as you can see at the bottom of the targets. There's a lot of wood sitting there and I can't believe that's from one day but it might be. Either way the lanes are not taken care of the drinks are expensive but the people are nice. Would I go here again? Maybe. It's not like you have a lot of options in Bend Oregon for extern. However, if there is another option, I would love to try it.

As everyone else has already said...this place is FUN! Let's say it simply, COVID sucks, the pandemic and limitations suck (albeit necessary) and sometimes throwing stuff just makes us feel better. This is a controlled environment where you won't have to replace walls...or windows...or whatever other debauchery might happen on accident somewhere else. The staff are super helpful and don't make you feel dumb if you found the one place the 100 people before you didn't hit (and weren't supposed too). All we need now is a wreck it place and all my throwing and breaking needs will be met! Awesome spot!

    Such a good time!!

Whenever my husband and I were in the Ray's located liquor store, we tried to get in and out as fast as possible because it felt so claustrophobic. Not to mention that due to its small size, the number of shoppers allowed inside was limited to something like only six at a time. Because the small size meant small stocks, we often drove over to the East Side liquor store if we were looking for something. Seems we weren't the only shoppers to do that as sales were declining at the small West Bend liquor store inside Rays. So the owner was successful in having the store moved. And it is with "yay!" response that we visited the newly relocated West Bend Liquor Store today. Just opened in a strip mall at 155 SW Century Drive, this liquor store now boasts roughly 4000 square feet! That means lots of stock to choose from for spirits and mixers. Although they don't seem to be completely stocked up as yet, they already have a nice selection of brand choices for spirits across price points For mixers they carry some harder to find items like Bitter Lemon and Fee Bros Bitters...and so goes the list. Not to mention that the store has a cool and comfy looking seating area, complete with faux fireplace and bar in which they offer tastings from time to time. If you want to stay posted on what is being offered for tastings on what days, sign up on the store's email list. One thing that remains now as it was then is the super friendly and helpful owner and his staff. They can answer any question you might have and make you feel they are really glad you came in. Now with this great liquor store on the West Side, we'll need to find a way to use more spirits! I'm only waiting on them to stock some of the specialty liquors and aperitifs - like Aperol and Navain and Rompope - for a five star rating. But for now it is a very enthusiastic 4 stars!

It was brought to my attention that kaylee took a video of herself looking disgusted at one of the establishments patrons. She then focused the camera on the patron who was on the machine gambling (older unknown gentleman) who also happened to have his buttcrack hanging out of his pants. As an employee she is allowed to have her opinions on things, but it is when she takes it a step further and publicly shames her own customers on her personal snap chat that she crosses the line. Might I suggest retraining her or reprimanding her so she understands it isn't professional nor cute to be a bratty judgemental entitled little girl who thinks shes hot shit and has a right to express disgust while also shaming someone who helps pay her bills? Feel free to email me for a screen recording of the said video. Thank you.

$6.50 GROWLER FILLS!?! Local Craft Beers!?! Seriously? This place is amazing! I don't know how they…read moredo it, but I can get a growler filled for $6.50 and they have a great selection. I get Deschutes Brewery's "Fresh Squeezed" for less than I can get it at Deschutes. I can get Boneyard Beer Company's "RPM IPA" for less than I can get it at the Boneyard brewery! The staff is friendly and efficient. I've always been able to walk right up and place my order. A line is unheard of. The inside is nice and clean, and always quiet. I guess this place is using the low-priced growlers to bring in more customers for their lottery and video poker machines. I've never used them, but they seem to always be in use! I mentioned the $6.50 growler fills, (the cheapest in town as far as I can find), but what if you are NEW TO TOWN (like I was) or just visiting and don't have a growler? Oh, no problem, these guys will sell you one AND fill it with your choice of suds for just $8.50! Where else can you buy a growler for $2.00 and have it filled for another $6.50? No where, that's where. Go in and check these guys out. I've talked to the owners a time or two (mom and son team, I think) and they have just taken over ownership earlier this year. I'd love to see the place stick around (for obvious reasons), so the next time you need to get your growler filled, give them a shot! (There weren't any reviews yet, so I thought I'd help them out with some pics too.)
