They were incredibly loud all day Saturday with the repairs. I was told around 1pm that they should be finishing up in an hour so. They were there until at least 6pm. The next day, I have a scheduled repair for my back patio gate, because it had not been closing for 7+ weeks, and I could not wait for my HOA any longer as it was a safety issue. It was fixed and on that Sunday, I was able to open and close my back patio gate. The gutter repairs were (apparently) being continued to Monday morning. It was again loud, but not as loud as Saturday. I came home from work at 4pm to find them taking up my entire back patio. I left shortly after and returned at 7pm, to find the back patio gate unusable again. The same gate that I paid to have repaired the day prior, No one answered the phone number I had for them, despite advertising themselves as "24 hour" service. They were incredibly disrespectful of my property. This is extremely unacceptable for the prices they charge.

I would not recommend Mulberry Builders! Their communication was horrible. We started the process…read morein Oct 2024 and told them we needed our house complete by Sept 2025. We were told that would not be a problem because it only takes 9 months to complete their houses. In Aug 25 we were assured everything was on time even though we could see that things seemed very behind. Luckily we extended our lease because the house was done by the end of Sept. There were multiple mistakes that we caught by us and had to be fixed. We were rushed to make selections in Nov 24 and then were told in June 25 that our siding was discontinued and we had to pick a new one. We were told our backyard would be mostly flat with maybe a few tweaks needed. This is not the case and we have no flat parts of our yard and had to hire a landscaping company to fix the drainage and flatten the yard for a swing set that we told them that was our plan from the beginning. We have contacted Mulberry about this because it should have been under warranty and we never received a reply. After moving in we noticed our grinder in the backyard was leaking. We brought this up with Mulberry at the 60 day checklist and still had to follow up multiple times and call the plumbing company ourselves and it was not fixed until Feb 2026. Overall a very stressful situation and felt like we were having to micromanage the project just to get things corrected. Every time we raise a concern we get told they are just so busy and to contact them to further to discuss but they never respond to those emails and correspondence.

Years ago in Nicholasville, Kentucky, Darrell Whitlock of "A Godsend Roofing" personally repaired a…read moreroof leak for a fair service-call price, and the roof never leaked again. In late 2024, I considered replacing the roof on my Lexington property and now regret not calling "A Godsend Roofing." Instead, I chose another company because of its reviews, a neighbor's recommendation, insurance and BBB listings, and a "Platinum" contractor designation. The roof was replaced in spring 2025, but by 2026 that contractor was out of business. Looking back, I wish I had valued proven character and integrity over the word "Platinum." When a leak developed in mid-August 2026 and I could not reach the original installer, Owens Corning confirmed that the contractor was out of business and provided a list of local Platinum contractors. The first company I contacted was about three weeks out, so I kept looking and found "A Godsend Roofing," listed as a "Preferred" contractor. That gave me a clear choice: wait weeks for a Platinum contractor or call a company I already trusted. I called Darrell Whitlock, and he answered personally. Although he was a Preferred contractor rather than a Platinum contractor, he remembered our earlier work and sent someone that afternoon to find and repair the leak. The repairman also noticed from the driveway that my chimney flashing did not look right, which matched concerns my son and I had already had noticed. Two men returned two days later, replaced the flashing, and since then the roof has handled hard rain with no leaks. I have already recommended A Godsend Roofing to a neighbor down the street, and I would not hesitate to recommend Darrell Whitlock and his team to anyone who values prompt service, honest communication, and careful workmanship.
