After speaking to the owner and explaining that the training was not working, he did not offer me any kind of resolution or refund. He recommended that I get a different breed of dog and so "kindly" offered to train a new breed for "free". My dog did not get the training that most dogs do, which is within their facility. So many dogs at their facility had kennel cough, so my dog received training outside of the facility for a very short amount of time every day (within the training duration) maybe, if my dog had received the type of training that I had paid for and there weren't so many sick dogs at Bulletproof, which is very questionable in itself my dog may have benefited from the training.

She didn't have any terrible behavioral issues. She was the most friendly, sweet, LOVING dog we had ever met. Once she cam home from the training, she was very sick. I did not receive updates on her while in training as promised. I was never notified that she was sick. When we picked her up they said she was sneezing from getting bathed. That was not the case, she was sick for a month and on antibiotic for a month. After speaking to Bill about the issue of her being sick and not receiving updates, he refunded $500. Which now in hindsight, I should have received a full refund. Once our dog started to feel better, she has become more aggressive, which she never was. She will not allow us to put any training collar on her as she is so afraid of it and snaps at whoever is putting it on her. We rescued our dog from the side of the road at 8 weeks old. She was not mistreated. She was the sweetest jumping, barking baby. Now, she doesn't trust anyone but our family. No one can go near her in her crate, come to the door, stop for a visit, on walks or in public that she doesn't know. I am not saying that Bulletproof has bad training, I am saying that whatever they did to our family dog was bad training. If she was unable to be trained with normal measures then we should have been notified. She should have been pulled from the program. I believe that she was "zapped" too much and at too high of a level which has made her so afraid and aggressive. The dogs that they train should be trained through positive reinforcement, not zapping the h3ll out of them through fear and PAIN!!!!!! Shame on you, Bulletproof, Cincinnati!!!!!! Shame on you!!!!!!

This is the reason, now that I have obtained another husky puppy, that I have returned with the new dog! Mary Jo is a very experienced and compassionate trainer. She really cares about the dogs and wants them to succeed. Prices are on point with similar facilities. During 2020 they are requiring masks, limiting class sizes, 1 person per dog, and have the floor marked for 6ft distancing (which would be standard to keep the dogs apart anyways, so its observed). Discounts are offered if you buy more than one session at once, or decide to continue to the next level by wk 7. There is also a referral discount. Many different times are available from daytime, to evening, to weekends, so something for everyone. They also offer agility classes here once youve completed all the obedience levels. Private training sessions are also offered for a reasonable fee. As an experienced pet owner, and vet tech, I highly recommend this spot for your dog. I used to do obedience myself, but saw such a major difference when I started taking my pets to classes with other dogs.

Additionally they host cat and dog adoption events every weekend where area rescues come and set up. This was the reason for my visit; I came alone and went home with a large black cat. The checkout line was long but it seemed to be moving at a reasonable pace. Store looked pretty clean and easy to navigate. There is plenty of parking including accessible and the entrance is handicap accessible too.

My review from the previous place carried over. We just had our 10 month old dog there for 4…read morenights. This place charges 25 dollars a night. Irrelevent of the money dont go there. Owners are very nice. The workers are not caring like blue ridge kennel or even the hospital that took over. Our dog came back dirty and with kennel cough. My wife was appalled at the workers. They didnt care and told her so. The place was closed when she came to pickup the dog even though it was 10am. The dog was dying to go to the bathroom when she got home. He wouldnt eat for days. The worker made a comment about this being just a job. She came a few days in advance to fill out the paperwork. When she checked in the person had no clue and it was the same person. The other reviews are obviously from friends.
