Dog food
Jessica S.

Nice selection of food, accessories, and extras for your pet. I came in here looking for a new collar for my dog, but was turned off by the prices. I am not sure if this is supposed to be a high end petco or discount store. I purchased a couple of toys and treats. Huge parking lot, plenty of parking spots and friendly helpful staff.

Cat food is disappearing from grocery store shelves. Many various reasons are given. Action had to be taken. We head to Unleashed fingers crossed. At least some healthy and expensive cans are available. So far every brand purchased has been pussy approved. As always, helpful and accommodating staff.

Can't say enough about the excellent staff at this store. Two recent experiences: had an online order and the delivery got totally screwed up- close to a week late- Petco Inc customer service was of no help whatsoever. Store manager actually delivered my items off her store shelves that day!; the other day I went get my dogs same treats only to find they had doubled in price. staff member was working the isle and she helped me to did thru all the treats to find similar items that I could afford. so kind. I only hope that the stores supervisors realize what an excellent crew they have at this store and give them all raises!!

I genuinely can't recommend Brad highly enough. By the time…read moreI reached out, I had already spent months trying to fix Sunny's leash pulling and reactivity. I'd worked with two trainers, including a 3 week board-and-train program ($5,000 investment), followed every instruction, and practiced daily, yet I didn't see changes. I was managing the behavior without ever understanding what was causing it. That changed within the first two hours with Brad. He didn't start with commands or tools. Instead, he focused on the psychology behind Sunny's reactions: what was driving them, what was reinforcing them, and what I was unknowingly communicating. No one had ever explained it that clearly. That was the turning point. For the first time, I wasn't guessing or correcting blindly. I could see what Sunny was experiencing in real time and understand how my timing, energy, and responses were shaping his behavior. That clarity changed everything. Walks feel completely different now. Sunny is no longer pulls since my training with Brad, the reactive outbursts are gone, and the experience itself is calm. I'm no longer bracing for problems because I know how to prevent them. I am SO appreciative!

Great experience! We have an 8-year-old rescue Golden…read moreRetriever who developed some habits we wanted to correct and weren't able to do on our own with traditional training. A couple of these weren't terribly serious, but we felt we weren't "in charge" anymore, that our dog wasn't getting the message from whatever we were doing, and that if we didn't do something different, it could really get out of control. Brad really helped us with this, where traditional "training" wasn't working. We have two or three things we're working on with our girl, but here is the most dramatic change we had with one issue. She is very food motivated, and would beg from us at the table whenever we sat down to eat, and would be underfoot in the kitchen during prep. She got overly excited and would not settle and lie down. Brad explained we weren't communicating well with her on a dog level, so to get that communication kicked in to gear, he actually started our session not with this problem, but with making sure she would not dash out the front door when it was opened. This was to establish that we were in charge and what was expected of her. What he showed us how to do worked like you wouldn't believe. It was like a light bulb went off for our girl. What we did affected everything after that. It wasn't about dashing out the door, it wasn't about begging for food, it was about knowing what was acceptable in our pack and to look to us for direction. That night, at dinner, she went to her "spot" with a simple direction and was relaxed during our entire meal. She can now be directed to her spot and will stay quietly any time we need her to. Best of all, she seems truly relieved that she doesn't have to be in charge and that WE are. She is much more relaxed around so many other things. It gave us so much more confidence! I didn't think that what Brad taught us would work. It's quite counterintuitive. But trust me, it worked like magic. This is not dog training - it's communication with your dog. Brad answers all your questions, doesn't waste your time, shows you clearly and directly what will work. We're so thankful we found him!

We definitely recommend Andi!…read more We originally reached out to Andi for consultations regarding both of our Maltipoos, Kiki and Coco. During our initial phone consultation, Andi was incredibly honest and genuine. After learning more about our dogs, she felt that Kiki was the one who would benefit most from formal training and suggested that we could apply what we learned with Kiki to Coco as well. We really appreciated that she didn't try to upsell us on training for both dogs when she easily could have. That immediately showed us how much she genuinely cares about helping dogs and their families. At the time, Kiki was about six months old and was extremely reactive to just about everything in the outside world. We were looking for someone whose methods aligned with our values, and we loved Andi's positive reinforcement approach. Kiki completed Andi's six-week program, and the growth we've seen has been incredible. What sets Andi apart is that she isn't focused solely on teaching dogs tricks or obedience commands. She truly cares about each dog's emotional well-being and how they're feeling throughout the process. We learned so much--not just about Kiki, but about ourselves as dog owners. Andi helped us understand how our own behaviors and responses can shape our dogs, which was eye-opening and incredibly valuable. Of course, the work doesn't stop when the training sessions end. It takes consistency and ongoing practice at home, but Andi gave us the tools and confidence to continue building on Kiki's progress. The effort has been absolutely worth it. One of the best parts is that we were able to use many of the same training methods with our older Maltipoo, Coco, and she learned and benefited from them as well. Andi actively encouraged this, which we really appreciated. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and ethical trainer who truly puts dogs' well-being first, we wholeheartedly recommend Andi and Diamond Dog Training.

The Dogfather is truly in a league of his own!…read more I cannot say enough amazing things about Alex, aka The Dogfather! My Pomeranian, Monaco, recently completed his 4-week board and train program in Long Beach, and the transformation has been nothing short of incredible! She came home a completely different dog--in the BEST way possible! Her impulse control has improved tremendously, her separation anxiety is much more manageable, and she has developed a level of discipline and confidence that I couldn't be happier with. What I appreciate most about Alex is that he doesn't just train dogs; he sets them up for long-term success. My dog came in at 11 months and not spayed, so she had already built a lot of bad habits. That said, the results speak for themselves, and I genuinely feel like we've built a foundation that will continue to grow. And we're not stopping here! Monaco has aspirations of becoming a little social media star, and I'll absolutely be continuing to work with Alex to help her reach that next level. After all, a future celebrity pup needs celebrity-level training! If you're looking for someone who delivers real results, I cannot recommend The Dogfather enough. Worth every penny!

Not his fault because it's in their genetics, plus in the fear stage but we wanted to do our best and provide the training so we can set him up for life. Alex is really one of a kind. after 5 weeks, our little guy knows boundaries of doors, sit, wait, down, plays fetch, come, stay, place, walk - what more could we ask for? What I like the most too is that you go to his location at least once a week and you train alongside him so you can also learn and do right by your puppy which is just as important. Don't look anywhere else! Alex is amazing.

Our puppy has learned to be very mannered and calm. Vladae not only trained the dog but trained me and my mom as well. This helped me gain a lot of confidence and courage to be assertive and dominant and not let the puppy walk all over me and go crazy. Additionally thank you to Erica and Karen for all the help with scheduling, tips and additional training. Vladae and his team truly treat us like family and we have really enjoyed working with them.

While it's understandable to feel upset when receiving negative feedback, it's important to reflect on the reasons behind my review. I noticed that during our initial interaction, you made a comment about my background that many found to be a stereotypical and racist remark. In fact, I saw that you previously posted video footage of our encounter on your Instagram, but you removed it after receiving backlash for those comments. This indicates that others found your remarks concerning as well. I want to emphasize that my intention was never to harm your business; rather, it was to share my experience. Thankfully, I have since found another trainer who practices positive reinforcement, which aligns much better with my values and my dog's needs.
