We've came here just to introduce friends to the area and then got to listen to bands that we enjoyed, and had some beers on a nice summer night with a cool breeze. Honestly, this is one of the coolest places that Riverside has ever had. They have their own parking lot and so far we've been lucky enough to find a spot, although it can get busy They schedule lots of little swap meet things They play the Dodgers games here They have Karaoke here We got to see a band called the dickies!! If you've never been, you have to come check it out In the very least, get yourself some gelato Or a hamburger, or one of the amazing pizzas There's a Photo booth There's an interesting vending machine with foreign snacks There's a Plant shop There's a record store Please people let's keep this place in business! I was in town for something but had a couple of hours to kill. As you would think that their downtown Main Street area would be somewhat nice to check out. Honestly, it's a cute area but not much there. It's a few block radius with some shops. Nothing major but small mom and pop boutique. There a few small restaurants and then a couple of the bigger one. More than half of the places weren't even open and it was just after 11 in the morning. I feel like it'll get busier during the weekend as around the area are bars and clubs. It is near city hall so you do have a lot of business people but it still wasn't that busy even during lunch time. The place is well maintained and pretty clean and organized. Nice art structure placed throughout the walkway. I don't know much about Riverside but I assume oranges have something to do with it as loads of oranges trees were planted. Could also be just for decoration. There's benches placed along the walkway for seating. Honestly, it's a cute little area but would I check it out again, maybe not. There's not much there. Maybe if I'm out for the night in the area but besides that, there's not much there. I'm not familiar with the area so maybe I'm missing something but it was fine checking it out. There's parking along the street for a fee or at the parking structure nearby.

It's wide, pedestrian only, has unique stores, many restaurants, cool sculptures and landscaping. A fun place to stroll, shop, explore. During X-mas time it comes alive even more, it's like a cool X-mas market, they bring rides, they have a stage for concerts, many food stalls where you can grab a bite, a fun dessert, a nice hot drink. Prices are reasonable and everywhere we went, customer service was very good. The decorations are incredible, it's a fun holiday venue. Very lively and pretty.

It's anchored by WSS Shoe Store, Grocery Outlet, AT&T, CSL Plasma, Planet Fitness, and Wingstop. There's also Coin Less Laundry (nice!), ABC Pharmacy, La Michoacana (ice cream, yum!), Waba Grill, metro by T-Mobile, boostmobile (right next door to metro), Cash Services, Nails & Spa, and more. I saw they have a large bright green bin for clothes and shoes donations. It was overfilling. It's a good thing... let's support our local community! Parking lot is gigantic at the front and back of the buildings so no worries there. The next time I'm back in the Riverside area, I will have to return to Krak Boba for more boba drinks, get some ice cream from La Michoacana, and check out how Coin Less Laundry works. I'm curious! LOL

Checked it out and headed to the area around early afternoon to walk around and see what it was all about. Come to find out they have events like a Wine Walk tour every first Sat of November & if you are into Beer they have an event the first Sat of every May.... first hand info from the lovely ladies @ Canyon Crest Dental. So some of the shops I checked out were a variety from pet shopping (Pawlished Paws) to Mexican dinner @ (Espetto's Grill or Pepitos Restaurant) & drinks (Nektar Juice Bar) or treat yourself to a Spa day or two OLO (Massage Triology Spa &/or Spa @ Canyon Crest) or a nice piece of Jewelry (Mardon Jewelers) which is a family owned business & wow the lady w/ short red hair was so sweet. There is a ton of other businesses that we peaked our head into and said hi. In case you needed to inquire on Insurance (Allstate) or maybe real estate inquire with American Funding Center located on the 2nd floor near Extreme Pita. Towngate and Valley Gateway nextdoor have a much larger variety of stores like Costco, Targét, Walmart, Best Buy, Michaels, 99 Cent Only and PetSmart. Towngate Promenade also has some great places to eat too, like Portillo's, Pieology, BWW, Bakers and Chick-fil-a, all within walking distance of each other.

Really enjoyed browsing here on a hot 99 degree day yesterday, while conversing with a good friend…read moreup north. So many good brands at 50% of or more from the retail prices at Nordstrom. The clearance racks are 70% off! Found a cashmere sweater for only $20 in a gorgeous burgundy color. Didn't buy it because it was too hot for me to think about buying a sweater no matter the bargain, but I did buy a cute green beaded bracelet and a pair of long dangly earrings with clear spherical and oblong beads for a total cost of $19 . The staff were kind and helpful--one gave me the bathroom code when I needed it, and another helped me sign up for the reward program and pay for my purchases. I think I'll have to go check out the Nordstrom rack in my area sometime, because there are good deals, for shoes too!
