I'd give a 5 star but I didn't get a car wash! Amanda was a great service tech and kept me updated on the work status.

We have had a wonderful experiance at Joe Machens Toyota (Josh Benson our Salesman and Greg was the…read moreSales Manager). We did not even purchase a car from them YET!!! For the last few weeks we have been waiting for a special 2022 Highlander to come in. They not only put our name on it while we were waiting, but they held it for 2 more days after it came in. The deal they worked out with us was very fair the FIRST time. However after my wife seen the actual vehicle, she decided she did not want to go with that color. They gave us no problems at all about it. While there I seen a 2019 Tacoma that I thought I wanted really bad. Josh and Greg again worked out a very fair deal for me. After I drove this vehicle, I realized it did not have all the equipment I wanted. Then again they gave me no problems at all. They also have the Best Cappacino in town. I did not feel pressured as I expected to by anyone. All staff, Front desk and Sales Desk treated us very very well on and off the telephone. They are looking for other vehicles now for us. We will not hesitate to go back and reccomend them to others.

I purchased a vehicle from Joe Machens Toyota last Saturday. During the sales process, I was told…read morethe vehicle was mechanically sound and had passed the dealership's inspection, which gave me confidence that it was safe and ready to drive. After looking the vehicle over myself, I had no reason to believe otherwise. Unfortunately, during the two-hour drive home, I began hearing a loud noise coming from the right front wheel area. After having the vehicle inspected, I learned that the right front wheel bearing is failing and needs to be replaced. The repair estimate is over $800, and I have been advised that the vehicle is not safe to continue driving until the issue is corrected. What concerns me most is that a vehicle represented as having passed the dealership's inspection and being mechanically sound developed a serious safety-related issue almost immediately after purchase. This problem was never disclosed to me prior to the sale. When I contacted the dealership yesterday, I was told to take the vehicle to my local Toyota dealership and that Joe Machens Toyota would cover the repair costs. Based on that assurance, I scheduled an appointment to have the work completed. However, when I called back this morning to confirm the arrangement, I was told they would not be paying for the repair after all. They also declined to repair the vehicle themselves or offer any assistance in resolving the situation. I understand that used vehicles can sometimes develop unexpected issues. What I do not understand is how a vehicle that was represented as mechanically sound and inspected by the dealership could have a failing wheel bearing severe enough to become obvious during the drive home. The change in position regarding the promised repair assistance only added to my disappointment. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that anyone purchasing a vehicle from this dealership obtain an independent inspection and get any promises regarding vehicle condition or repair assistance in writing before signing the paperwork.

I have not had any issues with my 2015 vehicle just normal maintenance. Prices are fair and the location is clean and comfortable. I highly recommend Joe G. as a service advisor, he's honest and fair. I did not purchase my Chevy at this location.

BEWARE! BUY YOUR NEW CAR ELSEWHERE! SERVICE AFTER THE SALE MATTERS!…read more I held off writing this review because I wanted to give Bob McCosh's service department the benefit of the doubt. After repeated experiences, I can't overlook how I have been treated. In March 2026, my brand new vehicle needed a module replaced because it would not accept updates needed for OnStar. I live 1.5 hours away and confirmed BY TEXT that a rental would be available so I could drop off my vehicle and go straight to work. When I arrived, no rental. Tyler said it had been cancelled because the repair should take less than an hour. FOUR HOURS later I was still waiting and missing work. I was finally offered a rental but told it had to be returned in 3 hours. That's literally my 1.5 hour drive to work and 1.5 hours back. I lost an entire day of wages. I was frustrated but chose not to complain publicly. Then August happened. On August 16, I contacted Bob McCosh because the SAME connectivity issues returned. They scheduled me for August 25 with a rental. On August 20, before that appointment, my vehicle became completely dead. After jumping it, the power steering wouldn't work properly, making it undriveable. Tyler told me to have it towed to the nearest dealership, which was Rusty Drewing. Credit where it's due: Rusty Drewing's service was AMAZING. They replaced the battery under warranty with NO labor charge, identified the module issue, and even followed up with me afterward. THE VERY NEXT MORNING my vehicle was completely dead again with a battery less than 24 hours old. I had it taken to Bob McCosh since I purchased it there, they had previously replaced this type of module, and I already had an appointment for the recurring problem. They had my new vehicle for 26 DAYS. The wait for the backordered part is NOT my complaint. My complaint is the communication. Calling for an update made me feel like a pest. When I asked to speak directly with Tyler or the person handling my vehicle, messages were relayed back and forth instead. Then came the battery charge. Bob McCosh knew the battery was LESS THAN 24 HOURS OLD when it died again. The module was ultimately confirmed to be causing the battery issue. Yet Bob McCosh replaced the battery again and charged me LABOR to install it on my brand new vehicle. I called an hour before pickup specifically about the charge. Tyler told me only a manager could waive it. I asked to speak with the manager when I arrived. After waiting, Tyler told me the manager was too busy to speak with me and would tell me the same thing anyway: they wouldn't waive it. If ONLY a manager can waive the charge, shouldn't I at least be allowed to speak with that manager? To top it off, the dealership contacted me questioning why I had inquired with MY BANK about the payoff on MY vehicle. Why my private inquiry with my lender was their concern, I still don't understand. My complaint isn't that a new vehicle developed problems. Vehicles can have problems. My complaint is how I was treated while trying to get them resolved. I purchased a BRAND NEW vehicle here. Expecting communication, respect for my time, and the opportunity to speak with a manager about a disputed charge isn't asking too much. I overlooked my experience in March. I won't overlook the pattern anymore. My advice: when buying a new vehicle, don't just consider the sales experience. Consider who you'll have to depend on AFTER THE SALE.
