I lived at University Mills and paid a months worth of rent as a deposit. I moved in 2 weeks before the next rent check was to be due thinking that the full amount I had paid to live at UV Mills for half the time (paid for a whole month, lived there 2 weeks) was my deposit. My apartment was broken into and UV Mills said 'too bad.' No further security measures were taken to keep it from happening again. When I moved out, I was told that I did not pay a security deposit and refused a refund. Later my roommates and I were sent a bill for a new living room carpet that had cigarrette burns. None of us smoked AND the cigarette burns were under where our couch had sat the entire year we lived there. UV Mills also was bought out by an even bigger business during the middle of my lease. It is my recommendation that you find somewhere else to live because these people will try and screw you over any way they can. Also, if you try and review them on their social media sites you will be barred. Most college apartment complex landlords in CF are bad, it's just like finding which one is the least bad. Overal comfortable apartments. Mold Has been an issue even with fans on and blinds being open all day. But any other issues have been fixed quickly and to satisfaction. read more

If I could give this place a zero, I would!! University Mills (now The Quarters) is absolutely awful!!! During the tours, don't be fooled by the free food and cute clubhouse. The inside of the apartments are so out-dated, the floors were coming up, leaking ceiling, rusted bathroom, and the rooms are so close together you can literally hear your roommate breathe. Management? The worst. If you write a complaint or go to them personally, nothing is done. These people only care about one thing & that's getting the money for rent. All other issues are irrelevant. I could write a book on all of the horrible things but don't want to waste another second of my time on this poor excuse of an apartment complex. If you are thinking of renting here.... This place is awful. I paid way too much for how small the rooms are. The customer service is by far the worst I have ever experienced. The ladies at the front office are very rude and are never willing to help. They charged me for stuff that was supposedly "not clean" when we spent all day cleaning on move out day. When we moved in, the apartment was filthy. We had to clean it before we moved any of our stuff in. I would not advise anyone to live there. The money you pay to live there is not worth it. The only good thing about this place is the pool. The worst part about it is definitely the customer service. read more
