This route circles the entire South Beach area and it has been one of the best services that you can find in the beach. It is so convenient! If you are ever on one end of the beach and want to get to the other the best way to get there is to just hop on the Local. No need to walk in our 90+ degree weather or move your car if it really is in a great parking spot. Cons -What keeps it from being a 5 star rating? Although most buses are in good shape, there are a couple that are dirty..graffiti, wear and tear and I know I have seen a couple of roaches in the back of one bus. ick. Sometimes the buses don't run 10-15 minutes apart, they are back to back, so you have to wait ages for the next one to pass by. But that is the exception not the norm. Pros - It is only 25 cents. It goes down West Ave from Publix and then down Alton and up Washington and through Dade Blvd. Depending on the time of day it runs every 10-15 minutes. It has a/c. For those who ride a bike, they do have a bike rack in the front of the bus. Great for going to the beach if you live on the west end. It normally is not very packed and all sorts of people use it. Not like the the metromover in downtown/brickell which serves as housing for our homeless population at times. All in all very good service for a very important local convenience. Check it out.

I was lucky to take her sold-out tour with the Big Bus company as part of Open House Miami. When we unexpectedly encountered a disruptive amount of traffic that limited our original destination, Caro did a great job pivoting to another neighborhood not originally planned for - and still somehow managed to end the tour right on time! Highly recommend taking a tour with Caro and definitely following her social media for engaging and creative content about our city.

I got hired on to work 30 hours a week at $16 and hour along with whatever the rate per course/class is. My first week I worked well over 40 hours, taking care of task that I already knew how to do. Come pay day, I'm told that this is the training period and I will receive $150 for the 40 hours worked or nothing at all. I make it through the training period and i am suppose to get my full hourly wage no matter what, and guess what? There suddenly isn't any work. It make sense why Pedro typically hires younger females with little to no self respect or esteem, because they won't stand up for themselves and they'll play along with his narratives, even if the are wrong or disrespectful. Because when I stood up for myself and my property he tried to get physical with me at his co working space in Wynwood. Now, Pedro won't pay me for the hours I worked because I stood up for myself and in the process he embarrassed himself in front of everyone he displays a fake attitude and demeanor towards. The tours and the can control course are a great time however I would just like to let you guys know what happens behind the scenes and the kind of person you're dealing with! P.s. try to catch the sober him, if ya can.

Waymo has arrived in Miami! A spinoff of Google based in California, Waymo is the first company in…read morethe United States to offer fully autonomous rides, meaning no driver behind the wheel to paying passengers. In January of this year, Miami became the sixth U.S. city to offer Waymo service. Each Waymo vehicle is equipped with 29 cameras, six radars, and five lidar sensors to calculate distance. As of July 2025, the company reported more than 100 million miles driven autonomously without a human behind the wheel and no fatalities. Waymo initially launched service only on city streets but has since expanded to major highways, including Interstate 95, the Dolphin Expressway (State Road 836), and the Palmetto Expressway (State Road 826). The service area now includes Miami Beach, Surfside, and Bal Harbour, as well as Downtown Miami, Brickell, Wynwood, Edgewater, Coral Gables, South Miami, and Dadeland. Waymo has also expanded to Orlando, although service does not currently include Universal Orlando or Walt Disney World. Using the service is simple. You summon a Waymo through the app, which shows the nearest available vehicle. You can enter your destination and manage your route directly within the app. When the vehicle arrives, it remains locked until you select your ride in the app. Once confirmed, the door handles extend and unlock, allowing you to begin your trip. While visiting the Design District, I saw a Waymo vehicle in operation for the first time, although I had previously seen one on display at the Revs Institute in Naples. Watching a car drive down the street with no one in the driver's seat was a little disconcerting at first, but I appreciate the convenience. Finding parking in Miami can be both difficult and expensive, making Waymo an appealing alternative. It seems especially useful during major events or for tourists visiting without a vehicle. Potential drawbacks include longer wait times in some areas and fares that can be higher than those charged by Lyft or Uber. Another limitation is that the service does not currently operate at Miami International Airport. Still the arrival of autonomous ride-hailing marks an exciting new chapter in transportation. So tell me, will you Waymo?
