This company does not respond to any voicemail or emails. The only people who answer the phone are the receptionist who then transfers you. This is the worst company to deal with and I would be leery to use them to install windows since customer service is not there! I have a warranty issue that I tried to deal with in 2021. Since that time they have had 4 other persons to contact.Im getting close to the end of my warranty period and tried unsuccessfully today, 2025 to reach a human. I'm tempted to drive to their business to speak with someone. Stay away from the company, they are unreachable after install. My issue concerns sliders installed by them for the house that I built. Buyer BeAware! This is the WORST vendor that I have ever used in my 60 years of hiring vendors for construction projects! There Is NO Customer Service. Sean hides somewhere in the shadows and the lady he pushed out and hid behind recently left. ( I wonder why ?) They took the order- then had a loud mouthed freelance installer install my windows and doors. He took many-many short cuts all the while complaining about Universal Window Solutions. No Rain pan was provided with my two $ 18,000.00 sliding doors so he decided that it would be a good idea to just install my expensive wind and rain rated doors without a way to collect and evacuate rain water blowing into my hurricane doors. ---Water poured in from just any mild rain shower. The Project manager came to the site and then decided to LIE to me saying that there was just some additional calking needed and it was a factory issue with the sliding door construction...BS BS BS Run from this Company! Save yourself! I spent a year and a half trying to get a resolution to the problem-They still delayed my project- costing me and they tore up and damaged $ 2600.00 worth of other stuff that then had to be repaired. Can you guys (Kendall, Hysen) come fix my door handle, again? I know you were here June 3, but it keeps falling off which makes it impossible to open the front door from the inside. I guess there is a tiny screw that is no longer there? Really I tried looking for it but I cannot find it. Having a front door without a functioning handle is particularly difficult when unloading groceries from the car in the hot Florida sun during a pandemic. Hope you can come fix it soon. Terrible experience! Awful communication as soon as they got our deposit. It took 3 months after order was put in to get on their schedule. They had issues with permitting at the city, turning in expired paperwork. They ordered 4 wrong windows and told us we signed for them, keep in mind a sales man for their company came out and wrote up the order. They were rude, unresponsive, and actually threatened me to "watch what I say on social media" and to put a lien on my property. After speaking with my lawyer and many conversations with the owner, Rocky, it ended with them taking the fee for the wrong windows and installation of them off, but now we still have 4 old windows needing to be replaced which is extremely inconvenient. I'm currently pregnant and was having morning sickness through all of this and the installation kept getting held up and rescheduled, always early in the morning. There was confusion with getting our final inspection with the city, which they kept calling the county, so maybe that was the problem? Either way, I called the city myself and after a whole afternoon of explaining why the contractor wasn't doing this, someone came right away to inspect. I put in over 10 hours and 50 emails with their company and the city trying to get my windows done. Then they tried to overcharge us $500 on our final payment. Unbelievable! I have all of my emails and encounters saved for anyone who needs to see it to believe it. I was sure we'd end up in court. I would obviously not use them again. read more

I purchased a new home from Neal Communities in 2016 and Universal Window Solutions installed the windows and have a 7-year warranty. I called Universal Window Solutions on April 14 of this year for a window with a broken seal that needs to be reglazed. I gave the window location and glass information to Becca. I called again on May 7 and inquired about the window and was told by Becca, she would call the installer. I never received a return call from her. I called again on June 30 and once again Becca would call the installer and the installer will need to inspect the glass and she would return my call after speaking with the installer. I asked if the installer picked up the window and she couldn't answer that question. I haven't received a call since that date. It's my opinion, Universal Window Solutions has no plans to reglaze this window. I keep receiving the same canned answers with every question. Please, stay away from this company. Their customer service and Becca are absolutely useless. Hopefully, someone with integrity to stand behind their work and warranty buys this family owned business. Because the current owners don't. Have called them several times in regard to glass sealant failure. They refuse to help saying they don't warrenty the GLASS in the WINDOWS!!! I have to replace 7 foot glass on my entire second floor of my house because the manufactor went out of business. Just be warned they contract out most of their business and blame the manufactors if anything goes wrong. This leaves them in the clear and everything on you if anything happens with the products they are selling! read more
