I scheduled a facial with Yuba at 1230 pm and showed up on time. She called me yesterday to remind me and then again the morning of the appointment. I showed up on time . I told her that I had cosmetic surgery on my nose and she kepr asking all kinds of questions about the surgery which I thought was weird. Then she takes me to the facial room and leaves me there for 15 min with no communication. She asked me to put on a robe which I did. After 15 min of waiting I stepped out wondering why I was not getting my service. I found her chatting in the lobby instead of getting materials ready. She was completely oblivious/clueless about anything and completely unprepared. I am shocked at how unprofessional this place is. Instead of saying sorry she began justifying herself that "she was giving me time to get the robe on " - how long does that take ??!! I am never coming back here. There was no remorse and no apology. I have been going to Yuba for eyebrow threading for years, following her from one location to another, until she opened her own beautiful salon in the summer of 2018. In October of 2020 my son got married and I wanted to try eyelash extensions. I spoke to Yuba,, told her what i thought I wanted, a very look natural, she gave me her suggestions and I decided on a trial run in September. Yuba did them just like what i asked for... not to heavy or long... on the natural side.. I loved them. Attached is a picture with no make-up so you can see how natural they looked. I got so many compliments and found out I didn't need eye make-up anymore. I loved my new lashes so much I have continued on with getting them done. Over time, Yuba has offered additional suggestions on adding a bit more volume, varying the length of the lashes, which I have been receptive too, and I am enjoying them even more now. I have been getting my eye lashes done for 5 months now. See Jan 2021 photo. I love them even more now. I would definitely recommend Yuba. Her location is clean, she is meticulous on taking Temps, hand sanitization, keeping the chairs sanitized between customers and overall cleanliness in her shop. She also makes time for you when you call. She cares about her service to you and your time. Never experienced so much pain from a wax. I've been getting waxed for over a year now, it's supposed to get easier not worse. The waxed also kept staring at me in my eyes while her gloves would stick to the wax on my skin. So painful and it took almost 30 minutes. read more
