He was considerate and finished the work quickly and took the time to show me how to use the system. After reviewing.my needs with a handful of providers with good reviews, I chose Settler because my conversation with Nelson inspired confidence. As expected, I was pleased with all aspects of the process. What I did not expect, however, was that I would receive products and service that exceeded my lofty expectations at an extremely competitive price. Nelson was transparent throughout the process and helped me select high-quality equipment that met my specific needs while staying within my budget. I was also surprised by the level of operational support provided. Nelson showed me how to use all of the features, but he also set up a number of parameters in advance based on our original discussion without requiring further input. And that support did not stop once the products were installed and the final invoice issued. I am still receiving support on a regular basis. Anytime I have questions, answers are a quick phone call away. Finally, due to my own oversight, my were entirely unreasonable. The tech asked if we wanted a new one since it was under warranty, or he could GLUE IT BACK TOGETHER! New one, please! Trying to reach someone to get customer support is such a time suck. It's a toss up. I would never recommend this company. NEVER! Looking forward to getting back with a reputable security and smart home service.

I would strongly caution anyone considering Vivint to make sure they understand exactly what they…read moreare signing up for and document everything. Our experience was terrible from the beginning. We spent around SEVEN HOURS dealing with the salesperson and installer on the first day, and the installation still wasn't finished. The system never properly worked for us. The installer left screws on the floors of our home despite knowing we have pets and a one-year-old child. There was a hole left in our wall, equipment was left disconnected/not working, and they drilled into the exterior brick of our house. The plug for one of the outdoor cameras also became extremely hot, to the point that I was concerned it could be a fire hazard. One of the strangest parts happened around 11 PM when the installer TEXTED ME asking me to send him the code I had received to review the installation so that he could complete the install review himself. I still have the text messages showing this. The sales process was equally concerning. We were not clearly told that the equipment was being financed or that there would be a hard credit inquiry. I did not understand that this transaction was going to involve financing and a hard pull on my credit based on how it was presented to us. After everything that happened, we canceled within the three-day cancellation window. I documented the cancellation through multiple methods. Despite that, the equipment is still sitting in our home and we have had an extremely difficult time getting Vivint to deal with the situation. From the sales process, to the installation, to the safety concerns, to the review-code incident, to the experience after cancellation, this has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a company. I have kept the emails, cancellation documentation, photographs, call records/recordings, and text messages from the installer because the entire experience has been so concerning. I absolutely would not recommend Vivint based on our experience.

I was doing a Yelp search for a local company and the one the stood out was Sanctuary Security service. I reached out to them and spoke directly to the Owner Andrew; we made an appointment at my convenience a few weeks in advance when I was scheduled to be in town. Andrew stopped by a few days before I arrived to assess the property and already had a plan in place for the best camera locations. I was amazed with what he was going to do and all the latest cameras and all other needed equipment. We agreed on a price. He scheduled me in when I was in town and got all the work done. Andrew gave me an and my wife a tutorial on how everything works. Got us up and running in no time at all. His company will also be monitoring our home. So, if anyone is considering installing a security system for their home and business. This is a great company to consider they offer quality work and outstanding customer service. As a semi-retired Contractor from California, it is a pleasure working with a professional company.
