The problem I have is that I was told when I bought the vehicle that the oil had been changed. When I got half way home the oil change indicator came on. I checked the oil and could tell that it hadn't been changed in a while, certainly not as I was told. This may not seem to be a big deal, but when you spend $11=k on a vehicle and come out of pocket with a down payment and then have to pay again to get the oil changed it's kind of a slap in the face. In addition, I have been waiting for a month for my title work to show up and it's still not here. I texted the sales person and was told I just might have to go get another temporary permit because it can take 45-60 days. This again is not what I was told when I bought the car and to be honest I don't know if it's even possible to get another temp permit and if it is that doesn't make it right because it takes time out of my schedule to go do that and I wasn't told this was going to happen. The salesman just told me that if I had an issue I could call and talk to management...Hmmmm, a little different attitude than when they were trying to get me to come buy a vehicle. The bottom line is that you need to verify anything you're told and double check to make sure it's accurate, before you buy, because after you buy the whole attitude changes.

I spent several days working with two different sales associates, researching vehicles, test driving, and negotiating a deal. After many hours, we finally reached an agreement. I secured financing through my credit union and also purchased a warranty through them, which the sales manager did not seem pleased about. After the deal was finalized, I purchased insurance for the vehicle and began cleaning out my current car in preparation to pick up the new one. When those two months came and passed I called asking for an update. after confirming my information I was informed that the person who handled their titles was out of the office. This was the beginning of over a year of calling them and receiving the same run around. He was always out of office. I even asked what hours he would be in and called at the appropriate time only to be told the same spiel. I live an hour and a half away and after six months of getting the run around I went in and all they did was offer to give me fresh temporaries. This was only a bandaid for a wound that needed stitches. Soon after I was able to get in touch with their title person who, I found out, was one of the owners. He gave me more excuses about how there was a hold up with the DOL. I waited patiently for another six months before finally being beyond fed up and filed a complaint with the Washington DOL. I was then pointed towards filing a claim against their dealership bond. It was only after I filed a claim against their dealership bond that they got me my title and plates, two days after they had been contact by the bond. What this tells me is that they had the ability to get me my title and plates before this due to the speed at which they were able to acquire them when they were threatened with financial liability by the bond agency. In the end, I received my title and plates in Feburary of 2026. This was beyond unacceptable. I have never written a bad review but have been so incensed by the entire ordeal that I felt it was my duty to inform others before they make the same mistake I did by doing business with this auto dealership. Believe it or not, this is the spark notes of the entire process I was forced to go through to use the vehicle I had purchased.

After the purchase Heather continued to check in and was able to help me with multiple issues with other departments at Subaru. When the service department didn't communicate or respond to messages sent to the service coordinator and kept my car for more than 24 hours for work that shouldn't have taken more than half a day maximum, Heather offered to go to the service department to get someone to actually respond. When the finance guy badgered me into purchasing a maintenance plan that wasnt usable on this vehicle due to repairs made BY Subaru AND wasnt the plan we even discussed, Heather went out of her way to help me get that contract cancelled and had another person in finance contact me about the awful experience with the first finance guy. Regarding the Perma plate, I told them I was not interested in that they informed me it had already been applied to the vehicle and so I had to pay for it, it is on my sale as being paid for, but yet again finance did not provide me with any of the information to actually utilize something I paid $700 for that I didn't even want or need. Even applied anything because the interior of my car was extremely dirty when I took possession, and they did take it back and have it "cleaned". 10/10 for sales experience purely based on service provided by Heather. 4/10 for the trustworthiness and comfort dealing with Finance, they were in such a hurry to get out of work to go out of town that after selling me a maintenance plan i cannot use he conveniently forgot to give me the paperwork for it, i had to get copies from Heather weeks later. I never received any information on the $700 product that was supposedly applied to my vehicle's exterior and interior.
