BEST GYM IN THE 757! If you are on the fence about getting a membership here or somewhere else…read more. I'll tell you why Natural Bodyz is hands down the best in the area. 1. It's 24/7 and 2 great locations with full top of the line equipment. 2. The NB Fam - once you get a membership here, you just joined the most supportive community of gym goers I have ever seen. I've had gym memberships while living in multiple different states, even different countries and by far my NB gym fam is the best out there. Everyone wants you to succeed and reach your fitness goals. If you have a question about anything the trainers are all extremely knowledgeable and always willing to help out. Even that "scary muscle head" in the corner is the warmest, most encouraging person. No judgement zone, everyone has to start somewhere. 3. Never overcrowded, where you can't get on a machine or squat rack. Yes, like any gym it has its "hot times" where it gets a bit busy but it's never overcrowded or where you absolutely cannot get on a machine/squat rack. Each location has enough space and equipment to make your workouts seamless. 4. Awesome ownership. The owners of NB are very family oriented, supportive and care about their gym family. The support really shows because you aren't just joining a gym, but a gym family and thanks to the owners always being present because they really set the tone. 5. I have to shoutout my dude Chad. Chad is an owner and my personal trainer. That dude has helped me grow physically and mentally with his mentorship of the fitness world. Literally within the first month of training and reaching fitness goals that I never imagined hitting, I felt like a new person. Confidence increases, energy rises and the gym became a place I'd find myself hanging out chatting with the trainers and other members even after a workout. Fitness doesn't have to be a chore.. and at Natural Bodyz, you'll see it's a gym family that you will easily fit right in with. Just send it, it'll be the best decision you ever make. - Gio B @iamgiob I don't work for NB... just joined the fam without any knowledge of the fitness world and was welcomed with open arms.

I became a member of Onelife Fitness in August. At first, I was worried about it because I noticed…read morethat Onelife members were very fit, and they seemed like they knew what they were doing. However, once I started going to Onelife, I noticed that that reason, it motivated me to work out more. Another reason why I love going to Onelife is that there are many machines and squat/deadlift stations. I do not have to wait for a long time for the other person to be done with their workout due to that reason. Onelife is clean and organized as well. Their staffs and members return used plates and equipment after use. Their locker rooms are also clean. The only thing that I don't like about Onelife is that they are not 24 hours. We had to keep our membership at my other gym because we go there when Onelife is closed. I highly recommend Onelife for people who enjoys going to the gym or wants to start to have more physical activity.

Not a bad place. It will work in a pinch. It's not well maintained and you usually have to tell the…read moreguy that something is broken/breaking before it will get fixed. It's very small, so there aren't a lot of options; you have to get creative with your workouts. Creativity is even more of a necessity if you are tall because a lot of the equipment is for short people (for instance, the pull up bars are only about 7 ft high). However, being small, you usually have the run of the place. The busiest I've seen is eight people. It works pretty well and it's convenient for me by location and by 24 hour operation. The up front price is way too expensive for what you get, but I was able to talk to the guy and get a better deal. Honestly, it's still too much, but the guy has to make something out of the deal, so I'm fine with what I pay. If you're up for a drive, the sister location offers free tanning. I haven't checked that out yet, though.

But here, you get so much for what you pay! They have tons of classes at a variety of times. My go-to's are kettlebells and Tabata--they're such killer workouts but in the best way. One of the things I love most is that the instructors actually do the workouts with you, which is so motivating. Plus, they're super helpful if you need modifications--they just want you to feel good and do your best. And even though this is one of the smaller YMCAs, the vibe is always friendly and welcoming. Just a heads-up, though--weekend classes can get pretty packed, so I recommend showing up early if you want to grab a good spot! I look forward to my workouts here, and it's such a great community.
