All Staff members and Trainers wear their masks at all times. Everyone who enters the gym, has their temperature checked. EVERYONE. Each member has an individual bottle and cleaning rag, to wipe down the machine after use. The equipment is superior to any other gym I've ever visited, or been a member of. People seemed respectful of the gym and put things back where they belong. Not sure if it's always like this but I went on thanksgiving day. We used our family's guest pass to get in. We asked about day passes and they said $10/visit. Side notes: there was a children's play area for people who needs a babysitter while they get active. Saw multiple bathing suit dryers in the women's locker room, ample dressing stalls/bathrooms, showers, etc and super clean!

poor experience with personal training staff and with membership services…read more gym equipment was ok and i enjoyed coming to the location for several months. personal trainer was ok when they showed up. had a few sessions, but then however they forgot our appointment time three times and had to cancel our sessions. later when i tried to cancel my membership all of the cancellation process is via email and is separate from the local gym making the cancellation process unnecessarily complicated. they also want to charge a hefty exit fee. i show up at the gym to speak with staff and the manager and person in charge of the personal trainer section are not in during normal working hours. beyond them, there is no one at the gym to help me process the refunds and/or cancellation process. buyer beware

With my daughter's membership, we both were able to accompany her for just $10pp. At first glance, this gym was very spacious and very well maintained. It had a huge, open area with treadmills, ellipticals and stair masters then other areas that included free weights, weight machines and bikes, among other equipment. I was very impressed by the swimming pool and the large hot tub as well. We started on the treadmills as a warm up then worked our way to the upper body machines. I noticed they had cleaning wipes conveniently located, to wipe down the machines when we were done which was a plus. As we were leaving, I noticed the Onelife Cinema and asked the lady at the front desk about how it works. She mentioned that they show a different movie every day (the movie is on repeat) but the room includes treadmills and workout equipment for you to workout and watch a movie at the same time. What a concept!!! I haven't decided if I am going to join yet but this gym is absolutely beautiful, spacious and very well ventilated. I visited the site a few weeks ago (on a Saturday) and from the looks of the parking lot, I thought it would be crowded inside. Boy was I wrong, the place is awesome inside! It was not crowded at all. The women's locker room was tidy and smelled fresh. Once I arrived upstairs to the dance room, I did notice workout (machines) equipment as well as free weights. Something for everyone is here! The dance class lasted for about 75 minutes, and it was a total workout! Beginner friendly and Amy makes everyone feel super comfortable and is willing to repeat steps over and over and over :) I didn't think I would work up a sweat doing line dancing, but it was a sweaty ordeal indeed - I loved it! I highly recommend you check out this location. I traveled from Suffolk, therefore it's definitely a hike, but on this day I was planning to be in the area, so it made sense to drop in. You cannot beat this waterfront property. Not a member, like me, just pay a drop in fee and get your body moving :) Have fun and enjoy life :)

There is something for everyone regardless of age. The facilities are well maintained and staffed. Everyone is so friendly and professional. I highly recommend the centers in our area. I have been to four different ones and I have been impressed with all of them.

I downloaded the app prior to arriving to start the "Guest" process and was given a barcode to scan once I arrived. Since my boyfriend is a Black Card Member, I am able to accompany him as a guest anytime he goes so once I signed a few waivers and took a picture, we were good to go. Very easy process. The gym wasn't crowded at all and I loved how clean and ventilated it was. The majority of the stationary exercise machines were available so once I cleaned off a treadmill, I immediately hopped on and started my work out. Planet Fitness has two sets of 12 large TV screens broadcasting different shows that you are able to access when on a stationary machine, which I thought was convenient, but I just listened to my music as I walked. The staff was extremely friendly and each workout area includes a generous amount of space for members to work out without feeling overly crowded. The cleaning stations are located sporadically around the gym but allow for easy access for people to wipe off the machines before and after use. For it being my first time at a Planet Fitness, I was overall very impressed and will be returning as soon as I can.
