Everyone here is so nice and actually cares about you and doesn't just spend 2 seconds to diagnose. I will never go anywhere else!

Following the submission of my referral, I received a text message a week later stating that my records were under review and that I would receive a follow-up call to schedule an appointment. That call never came. When I followed up myself, I was informed that scheduling could not proceed without the complete records from a sleep study conducted over two decades ago. This requirement is not only unreasonable but also profoundly out of touch with the realities of long-term medical care. In the 20+ years since I received my CPAP, not a single provider--whether physician, home health company, or insurance--has required those records, or EVEN asked to check the machine. Expecting a patient to retrieve documentation from a defunct sleep center or from physicians whose practices have changed hands and locations multiple times, especially from an era when electronic medical records were barely in use, reflects a disturbing lack of flexibility and common sense. This experience demonstrated a clear failure in communication, accountability, and patient-centered care. I would strongly advise others to seek alternatives.

When I got sent to the emergency room i was told to wait 6 hours before treatment. When the six hours were over, the doctor had told me he wouldn't treat my wounds until I had beat him in a game of Hopscotch. Of course I accepted as I never back down from a challenge. However, this ended poorly for me because as we were playing I had fallen and landed on my nose. My nose had gotten really swollen and red. The doctor had then proceeded to call me Rudolph for the rest of my time there. He charged me 60,000$. Fuck American healthcare.

During that entire time, he was never given fluids, never offered anything to eat, and his call light went unanswered for 10-20 minutes at a time. At one point he tried to get up to use the urinal on his own because no one responded, and he fell on the same hip he had just had replaced a few months ago. When we raised concerns about the fall and asked about getting his hip x-rayed, Physician Hayes responded with unnecessary rudeness and condescension. She looked at my dad and asked, "Sir, do you have dementia?" Not only was this disrespectful, but any provider should be aware of a patient's medical history by reviewing the chart before making comments like that. By the time we were discharged, I was furious and deeply concerned. The care my dad received was neglectful, dismissive, and ethically unacceptable. I will be contacting the patient advocate to file a formal complaint. Something needs to change before someone is seriously harmed--or worse.
