Yes, you read that right - even after two years, I'm still discovering new techniques, insights, & skills with each class! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the kindness & supportiveness of everyone - teachers, students, & staff - is ridiculously kind & supportive. It's like walking into a big ol' hug! Matt & Brian, are total rockstars. They're genuine, talented, & have helped me grow not just as an actor but as a person too (which is just as important). The classes are engaging, challenging, & fun! I've learned so much & seen major improvement in my craft. But what really sets Dearing apart is the community vibe. Everyone is super nice, supportive, & genuinely invested in each other's success. It's like we're all in this together! If you're thinking about acting classes, check out Dearing Acting Studio. Trust me, you won't regret it!

I recently moved to Phoenix from California and was a professional movie, TV SAG(Screen Actors…read moreGuild) Actor for 10 years in LA. There are alot of acting schools in LA(many sketchy charging thousands for inferior instruction). The Dearing School is superior to most I've seen in Hollywood. The classes cover classic acting skills, improv and comedy for all ages for all types of mediums. I met the Owner, Matt Dearing, and was quite impressed. The atmosphere is friendly but professional so neophytes to experts can learn and polish their acting chops. The location is very convenient and classes are available throughout the week at prices much more reasonable than LA and NYC. Highly recommended and I'm a professional IMDB listed SAG actor.

My first visit to Board & Brush & I enjoyed my visit so much…read more You reserve your spot and pick which design you want to do online before you arrive. You also pay online as well (I'm sure you could go in prior to your visit in person if you wanted as well). My board is already put together, but you have to sand, customize how distressed you wanted the wood to be, stain, customize & paint how you like it. The employees will help you put on the way to hang the board on the back too! If your looking for some therapy- the 3 minutes of distressing your wood with heavy tools is quite nice! Get some stress out! Lol. They have about 5-6 people per table and there are employees there to help you every step of the way. Raegan & Jess helped me the most and they were super nice and helpful! There is tons of wood decor on the walls if you need ideas for your creatively and they supply everything you need for your custom sign. They also play music videos & music while you are working on your project so it's fun and not just silent. My project was $65- today I got a promo code to return and get a discount on my next visit. I will definitely come back and bring some family members with me next time- my project time was 10am-1pm but I got done at 12pm so only took less than 2 hours- depends how detailed your sign is and how long you want to keep perfecting it. Great spot for birthdays, bridal events, mental break, weekend fun or time with friends and family.

We should have requested another area from start. Our fault on that. Service was attentive throughout the meal. Wine menu was out of date but we found a bottle to enjoy. We were under impression there was a dress code for dining room but apparently not as other groups came in wearing shorts. Food was average. My short ribs had much too much fat. Should never have served that cut. We enjoyed our experience but overall first impression was disappointing.

The prices are very reasonable considering all the different options they offer. Their party packages are also surprisingly affordable, so this would be a great place for birthdays, family gatherings, or just getting a group of friends together. They even offer equipment rentals for private parties, which is a really nice option. They also have snacks and drinks, so you can hang out, play, and stay awhile without having to leave. And because I know someone out there is wondering... yes, I checked the bathroom. It was clean! That always earns extra points from me.
