My first visit to Board & Brush & I enjoyed my visit so much. You reserve your spot and pick which design you want to do online before you arrive. You also pay online as well (I'm sure you could go in prior to your visit in person if you wanted as well). My board is already put together, but you have to sand, customize how distressed you wanted the wood to be, stain, customize & paint how you like it. The employees will help you put on the way to hang the board on the back too! If your looking for some therapy- the 3 minutes of distressing your wood with heavy tools is quite nice! Get some stress out! Lol. They have about 5-6 people per table and there are employees there to help you every step of the way. Raegan & Jess helped me the most and they were super nice and helpful! There is tons of wood decor on the walls if you need ideas for your creatively and they supply everything you need for your custom sign. They also play music videos & music while you are working on your project so it's fun and not just silent. My project was $65- today I got a promo code to return and get a discount on my next visit. I will definitely come back and bring some family members with me next time- my project time was 10am-1pm but I got done at 12pm so only took less than 2 hours- depends how detailed your sign is and how long you want to keep perfecting it. I bought my mom a gift card for Christmas and we enjoyed a lovely Saturday afternoon there. They allocate 4 hours for the class which I thought would be excessive but turns out you need that much time. You are able to pick your project ahead of time and are limited to the items in there galley, as they prepare the items ahead of time (stencils). When you arrive they have your piece of wood available at your table and then once the class begins they walk you through each step, sanding, staining, painting, stenciling, seals/glitter and then You're all set! We had a great experience and LOVE our projects! There are several people there to support your creativity and project. They do an excellent job of supporting but not taking over. Also they told us for future classes you can BYOB wine after 4pm! read more

So much fun! Great date night! I discovered this place while looking for a painting class for me and my boyfriend. It's pricey but I'm so glad we went! The girls that work there are super friendly and personable. They really make the experience extra enjoyable. The projects can seem overwhelming but are quite doable. My boyfriend said he was surprised at how much customization you can do to your project. He was worried it would be more "paint on a stencil and go" type thing, but you make it your own from beginning to end. We will definitely be going again! read more

This place is awesome! I took my mom here for her birthday along with my daughter and several of my moms friends and everyone had a wonderful time. Jessica, our "table host" was absolutely fantastic and so patient in trying to help us all. Very friendly and took an interest in every one of us! The owners of this place are amazing! I've been there two times and I've had an absolute awesome time with my girlfriends. My girlfriends and I went there last weekend for my birthday and my sign didn't actually come out the way I wanted it to. Kristyn quickly called me back and not only offered to refund my money but offered to have me come into the shop and remake my sign so that she could help me. She wanted to be sure that I felt good about the sign that I was making. She did not have to refund my money. Nor go out of her way to do that. It's very hard to find a business owner these days with high morals and values,that actually care about how their clients feel about their finished product when they walk out of their doors. THANK YOU Kristyn for not only helping me with my sign but for rebuilding my confidence. Money can't buy that sort of thing. You will definitely go far not only in this business, but in life. I spoke with the lady to book 6 of my Girl Scouts for a class she told me I could call back and either let her know and she would reserve them or I could go online. I called to leave her a message that I want those spots she calls me back and tells me to go online and reserve them. I would have given it a 5 star review because everything was great and the staff was beyond helpful. The reason for the 4 star review was that the air quality was so bad in there once everyone was staining their wood that my eyes burned and my head hurt so bad. I kept having to walk outside to get some fresh air. By the time I left at 9:45 my head hurt so bad and I barely could open my eyes because they were blood shot and swollen. There has to be some sort of air purification/filtration system that can be installed to help with this. I was not the only lady that this happened too. My whole table was complaining about it. I don't usually post negative reviews but I really wanna come back and do it again but I won't be able to unless something changes with the air quality. read more

I attended their October open event where you had the choice to make 3 small pumpkins or a hello fall set of 3. The event was a disaster, they were unprepared for the amout of people who showed up not to mention the extremely rude girl who was assigned to assisting our table. They had about 6 people at our table with maybe 2 of each stencils so we had to share if you have ever re used stencils with paint several times, it's not a good situation not to mention the wait time and our rude assistant not listening to what stencil we wanted or not even listening to us at all while asking for guidance. After becoming close to done one of the staff members mentioned we had been at the table to long and gave another customer the okay to literally take my chair out from under me! after we moved to the fall project they didn't have enough stencils to make the project correctly and the owners did not seem to care. At the end of the event our same assistant was complaining she had worked a double shift and was over being there which would explain her zero efforts. read more
