Expired online coupon as a "prize."
    Eric D.

Worst claw machine place we have ever been to! First, win rate on the claws is abysmal. Very hard to win. Second, the prizes are not good. Bags of chips, ramen bowls, and cheap toys. Not one Pokémon plush. No Mario. Hardly any name brand stuff. Third, trade in prizes are not good. Nothing worth trying to trade up for. No trade in values listed and when I asked the guy at the front the price to trade in, he started explaining stuff like he didn't even understand it. Fourth, guy at the front counter could not have been less helpful. Asked several questions and it was like talking to a 5 year old. Finally, has expired stuff in the prizes. Won the attached online points and they are expired. What the crap? Went to claw zania and that place was much better! Will never return.

We won a lot of stuff

Daniel was great. I thought he was the owner. he made the experience great! Will definitely come back and enjoy it again.

This place is dope and the staff is absolutely amazing! 10/10 all day!!

10/10 the staff is amazing! I had such a good time here! I just moved here from Nebraska!

Such a great place for kids! We had so much fun and Lucas was incredible! He was so patient and encouraging to the kids and helpful!! We will be back!

    Hello C.

Clean, you can actually win prizes and the owner was incredibly kind. He made the experience fun for all our kids and let them play a few games for free too! We aren't from around here but will definitely be telling all our friends and family about this place. W

Could not say enough good things about this place. Was pleasantly greeted by Gary the owner. He showed us how everything worked and where to purchase the cards. He showed my son around who is quite the claw machine enthusiast and he even taught him the special "double tap" method. We purchased a $50 card which gives a decent amount of bonus credits and my son was able to play for a while. As you can see from the picture he won quite a few prizes. I spoke with Gary and you could tell he really cared about his customers and the kids and wanted them to have a good time. I will be recommending this business to all of my friends and I will be back with the rest of the family next time. Thank you again Gary you really made this young man's day!

This place has a lot going on!

This is a pretty fun and high energy arcade. Brought our grandsons here after they received a couple of Claw Party gift cards. There are dozens of claw games to play, from key ring size prizes to 3' tall stuffed toys. There are also quality several arcade games to play. The games require different amounts of credits to play. We found the younger kids needed some guidance in making sure they don't burn through the arcade cards too fast.

So this is the second time my wife and I have been here, and every time we stop by the staff, they are amazing. This time, we were celebrating our sons 6th birthday. Gary was extremely kind and courteous towards our special needs kid and helped make our sons birthday unforgettable. Thanks again to the amazing staff that help keep places like this open.

    So many claw machines!

The family and I went here to surprise my daughter. The staff was kind and give my daughter additional tokens. The games are a bit pricey but the kids had fun and it great seeing a claw arcade near us.

Conveniently located right off Grand Ave (US 60) in a little strip mall right in the heart of Surprise. Tons of ample parking for you and some of your closest friends! We were greeted immediately when we walked in. Contrary to what a few of the other reviews have said, you do ** NOT ** need to bring quarters with you. Obviously, you can. But it's not necessary. The nice gentleman running the place today gladly took our $20 bill and give us a few $5 bills back. From there, you can go to their change machine in the back, chuck in your $1 bills or $5 bills and it'll spit out quarters at you. Once you've got your pockets full of quarters, head over to one of the many machines and be prepared to be entertained! It's $1 per game. I know, but this ain't 1984 anymore so a dollar per game checks out. We blew through our $20 in a hair over an hour. It is incredibly clean inside! The machines functioned with no issues at all and I can't stress enough about how clean the machines (and everything) was here at Player 1! If you want to partake in some soda or alcohol, they can serve you up some refreshments while you've got your hands full with a pinball machine. Super fun way to spend a hot summertime afternoon here in Arizona. We will DEFINITELY be back. Such a cool place. Can't recall the last time I saw this many pinball machines lined up in a row. I think I was listening to Van Halen on cassette on my boom box. Highly recommended, friends! Go check them out!

So there we were, headed to Castles N' Coasters a wholesome amusement park in the desert... a place…read morefor families, laughter, and apparently, poor decision-making. Now my buddy this man reaches into his pocket and pulls out what I can only describe as a historical artifact. I'm talking a doobie so big it looked like Bob Marley himself rolled it during a greatest hits tour. I said, "Absolutely not. I am a grown man. I got responsibilities. I got a mortgage. I got snacks at home I haven't even finished yet." That didn't matter. Next thing I know, windows are up, car turns into a Dutch oven of bad decisions, and now I'm just along for the ride literally and spiritually. Somewhere between "this is a bad idea" and "why is everything funny," I lost control of the evening. We pull into the park around that magical time you know, that in-between hour... not quite day, not quite night... like God dimmed the lights and said, "Alright boys, let's see what happens." The whole place is glowing neon lights, arcade buzz, roller coasters rattling in the distance. Felt like walking into a carnival dream... or maybe a fever dream. Jury's still out. Now here's the thing about this place it's been around since the late '70s, sitting right there in Phoenix like a desert time capsule of fun. You got four roller coasters, including the Desert Storm, which sounds fun until you're on it reconsidering every life choice that led you there. Then there's the Patriot wooden, loud, and about as gentle as a bar fight. And somehow... SOMEHOW... we thought tequila beforehand was a good idea. So now we're buzzed, slightly baked against our will, and wandering this park like three philosophers who lost their notes. We're laughing at everything. Nothing's funny but everything's hilarious. A trash can? Comedy gold. A churro? Best thing I've ever eaten in my life. A child running past me? I'm emotionally invested in his journey. But I'll give credit where it's due the park itself? Clean. Staff's friendly. Nobody's judging three grown men giggling like idiots. It's got that old-school charm too arcades, mini golf, rides, the whole deal. You can bring a family here... or whatever version of a situation we were. Now the rides... oh, the rides. Let me tell you something nothing will make you rediscover fear like being slightly out of your mind on a roller coaster you thought you could handle. I got scared... not once... not twice... but a few times. The kind of scared where you start making promises to God you don't intend to keep. "I'll be a better man if I survive this drop..." Didn't mean a word of it. By the end of the night, we had the munchies, the laughs, and just enough dignity left to get back to the car without needing a group meeting. For a couple hours, though? We were kids again. No responsibilities. No stress. Just lights, noise, and pure, ridiculous fun. So yeah Castles N' Coasters might be a family amusement park... but under the right or completely wrong circumstances, it turns into one hell of a story. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Just... maybe crack a window on the way there.

Also, the Simpsons machine doesn't let you play Lisa. it picks Bart if you select Lisa's button. Another machine is Zoltar downstairs. He only talks, but does not spit out a souvenir ticket. That one actually did eat my dollar. I guess it made up for it because a couple people abandoned their games downstairs in the middle, so the bf and I played for "free". It was on someone else's dime, but I guess that counts, too. We got nachos and drinks from the snack bar. Service was quick. As with any family fun event center, food was a bit overpriced. The female bathroom was nasty. I don't know how often they clean them, but there was paper all over the stall floor. The faucets had a lot of buildup on them. Both the male and female restrooms smelled funky. I didn't play at the putt putt section, but one day I'll be back to do that. Overall, a good arcade/food experience. I'd recommend this place to people. I cannot comment on any of the rides/attractions besides the arcade.

Unfortunately, this place has changed & not for the better (I am sorry to say)…read more We had several issues. When we walked in, we purchased the bowling (amongst other things). The kids wanted to do that first so we walked straight to the bowling (right behind & in close proximity to the front desk). We had been told by the front desk gal we purchased from that the attendant manning the bowling area would get us set up, give us our balls, etc. We walked a few steps over there and it was obvious that employee could not help us as it appeared a lady had been hit in the face with a bowling ball or some other similar medical emergency. Understandably, the employee could not get us set up so we returned to the front desk to ask if that worker we had purchased bowling from could just hand us our balls. We figured since there were 4 lanes, maybe we could play in the one on the far left since incident occurred on the lane to the far right. We were told that we could not bowl (by another employee) due to the incident. We were told we would need to wait to play. I get it, but I wish we had been offered the option of a refund. No such offer. We decided then to go into the playground area, Ballocity, whilst waiting for this incident to clear. We were quite surprised to find that there were multiple buckets collecting water from a ceiling leak INSIDE THE PLAYGROUND AREA! This was completely unsanitary and poses multiple safety hazards (including, but not limited to, slipping and falling, kids playing in the disgusting water, etc.). To make matters worse, my youngest child advised me that there was tons of water on the ground up above in the top level of the play structure!!! Talk about unsafe. I climbed up there myself to validate what he had told me and sure enough it was correct. This entire play structure should be closed until this leaking water situation is corrected. Additionally, many of the games were out of order and not operational. The Sonic Basketball game would still take credits off of cards, but unfortunately, we soon realized that there are not even any balls in the game with which to play. Totally unfortunate. We did not even use all the credits we bought. We got out of there. I hope they are not going to go out of business soon. I am very concerned, from a business standpoint, that they may not be bringing in enough money to maintain their facility. PLEASE LOOK AT MY PHOTOS BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE.

We ordered our food and only got the salmon protein bowl brought out while still missing all the rest of the food for our party of 6. The manager and server were nice and tried their best to figure out what happened. Eventually the staff had said they accidentally dropped the tray of food before bringing it out. It took about 30-40 minutes to actually get our food so always really an hour from when we ordered to when we got our food. I did enjoy the buffalo wings we had as appetizers. I also was not very partial to either the guac or the cauliflower elote as the flavors were a bit bland on those appetizers. Once we got our food they had brought out my sons burger with cheese but we ordered no cheese because he doesn't like it and doesn't know what is good in life so yet another wait for him to actually get his food. I did like the spicy hombre cocktail which is made with an aged tequilla. The staff offered us free desserts and a $10 game card to make up for the food wait and errors. We appreciate that. To top it off I was brought the check on their hand held devices and it was not working so had to wait for the server to bring another to check out. This combination of drunken clumsy behavior and firearms in the same environment at the same time is not safe. All of this aside, the reason I am updating my review, primarily, is because of the stellar service provided by our waiter, Braxton, last night. He was genuine and provided excellent service even when presented with the awkwardness of that woman falling on me. We truly appreciated his presentation. He was not at all phony or displaying a superficial personality. We see that all too often from our Dave and Buster's servers so his sincere nature was truly refreshing. When we come back, I hope we have the good fortune of being seated in his section once again. His contributions to our overall experience made the evening so much fun. Thanks Braxton.
