You pick a wood design. It gets sanded by the nice mother/daughter staff. While it is being sanded, you decide if you would like to stain or paint your piece. I chose to make a wooden tray. I had Prepared in advance and taken some artwork to decoupage on to the tray. After carefully painting two times, I was then ready to decoupage with Mod Podge. Mission accomplished. Three of us made trays, others did plaques and one gnome. Fun, fun, fun! Great group activity. They have an Open Studio time. Free parking outside.

We didn't require any assistance, but it was clear that they would be happy to help. I also really liked the music they had playing. They also offer several other types of classes. I'm really looking forward to going back to brush up on my pottery throwing! A great place to bring the littles, ideally baby to toddler age. I arrived with my 2 year old and he had a blast playing with the center interactive zone that is kind of like an obstacle course. There are also a lot of push toys off to the side he had fun with, and a babies only area if you are toting a little sibling. This location was clean, and not too crowded close to opening hour on a weekday. There is a small area to eat snacks as well, along with some healthy food and drink options at the front. Plenty of parking when we went. We were only in town for a couple of days, and I loved it for a great option to bring my toddler, especially in the heat. They offer memberships as well.

The place is pretty clean including bathrooms and the employees are always walking around often picking up toys and sanitizing or vacuuming. There's also a separate area with tables and chairs for snacking or for parents to work. I had my son's birthday here and I chose the private party package after business hours so I didn't have to worry about it being packed with other people we don't know. The employees were communicative when I had questions regarding my party prior to his bday. I provided everything including decor, goodies, food, and they provided tables and chairs. However, we did come again to play on a separate occasion on a weekday and it was very very busy. I rated a 4 because I wished they capped at a certain capacity since Playzona isn't as large as others play places.
