Id put negative stars if I could. I had a terrible experience here. I've never cried over my hair before this, I was actually sobbing at home. I had Lara, who was a super sweet person but she cannot color hair. I wanted pastel pink and she warned me it wouldn't be exactly what I wanted but she would try to get close. She failed to bleach all of my hair, there were huge chunks left untouched and the pink dye wasn't unified either. She gave me my money back since her only way of fixing it was to bleach the brown spots to match the ugly orange or to cover it all with brown. I had to go to a different place, Essentiels De Beaute and Spa, and spend $270 getting it corrected and they did a wonderful job. I do not recommend this place or maybe just not Lara. I've attached pictures of the disastrous job and how the other place fixed it. read more

I love this salon and I've been coming here for over a year now. I normally come during the week because it fits my work schedule and it's always calm and quiet and I can relax. A client cancelled with my stylist Kaitlin so she was able to squeeze me in on a Friday, which isn't common for me but I randomly had an early off day. I was waiting in the front lobby for about 20 minutes and all I could hear was a stylist talking EXTREMELY loud about personal things with her client and it was very irritating. I tried to ignore the conversation at talk to the receptionist while I was waiting but this girls voice was so loud in the background that I could barely keep a conversation going. I normally don't leave complaints but it was so annoying to hear personal stories so loudly for the whole salon to hear. read more

I got my hair done here and it was nothing like what I wanted, I wanted an ombré and it looks like she just put streaks. My hair is brown and I knew it would take a couple times to get to what I wanted but it is no where close to what I wanted. $150 a session I expected to see some difference. I ended up contacting her the next day and telling her I didn't like it she didn't want to try and help at all she just kept saying I told you it would take multiple sessions. Which she never said! a couple should have been enough. She was not Professional about it at all I'm not the type of person to complain but I was really in happy with the outcome. I needed my hair done because the way my hair looked before was horrible. What I wanted done I knew was a process and was hoping to achieve a little more of the process during my visit here. I had taken the time to look at a few people online to see who's blonde would be good for my hair, I've had my hair dyed many times before (blonde) and have had amazing results, so I thought that finding a good person who does amazing blonde would be a good fit. I found Justice, her hair transformations are phenomenal. And I thought she was the girl to do it. I had texted her letting her know what it was that I wanted, and what I was trying to achieve. She informed me that it would be a process but it could happen. She gave me a quote and I was satisfied. The day came for the appointment and I was excited and anxious, normally I would be expected to be at the salon for about 4-6 hours so I was ready. I met Justice and she was sweet, and the salon was beautiful! Loved the atmosphere, and she was welcoming and relatable. I advised her again of what I wanted hoping to get blonder, and adding a few grey pieces. She understood and we started. In the middle of the bleaching she had another client come in for an appointment. I noticed her starting to rush a little bit so she could start on her. When she was done bleaching me I was ready to start processing. When she finished bleaching the other girl, who she rushed as well, she started rinsing out my hair and toning it. She said my hair would look a little darker because it was wet, so I said okay. Because obviously she's a professional and knows what she's doing and I don't. She had asked what kind of shampoo I used and I had told her I had bought some from Sally's beauty supply (shimmer lights) and she said that it would be fine to use on my hair. She cut about 2cm of my hair, and started to blow dry my hair. She made sure to show me the really light blonde pieces that I had in the back so I was excited thinking the back of my hair got light! She styled it and it did look nice because again a few front pieces were light and I was happy. She never showed me the back. I went home and my hair looked exactly the same. I had a few front light pieces and a few in the back but my hair was still gold and orange. And my hair hadn't changed AT ALL! My hair looked nothing like the picture that I had showed her. The next day my ends of my hair were brittle I was scared to brush them. I took a shower but didn't want to wash my hair so I just left it wet. Blew dry and styled hoping I'd see a difference and didn't. I contacted Justice and voiced my concerns about my hair, how it looked the same and how it was still gold and orange. She told me it was a process and that she could re tone my hair. I told her that my hair was nothing like the picture not even close and that if I went back to the salon that I'd like to go lighter and hopefully get some grey pieces in there. She wanted to say t was my fault for using cheap shampoo( after she said it would be fine) and that she could do a color correction for $75 an hour and it would take about 6 hours to do. While I was talking to her I always tried to say sorry that I didn't want to complain but I paid for my hair to look a certain way and she said she could do it and it looks the same. She didn't want to budge at all and placed the fault in me. Yes I should have said something while I was in the chair but I felt like I couldn't because I was being rushed because she then had another client coming in after I was going to leave. I could have waited a month to tell her but I didn't it was a day after and I told her. Loved the salon but would not recommend Justice, she rushes you out the door and her customer service sucks. read more

My review is loooong overdue! This is also my first review ever on yelp! Also, my first time getting my hair colored. I went through a major transformation with Kaitlin and she's awesome!! When I walked in, I was immediately greeted and asked if I needed any assistance. I was directed to Kaitlin's station, everything was very neat and clean. Kaitlin was very thorough explaining what she was doing to my hair and why she was doing my hair a certain way. She always asked if I was comfortable and she made time pass by so fast! She's super fun and entertaining. I used to have long and naturally dark hair. Kaitlin described the proper hair care and the necessary break time between sessions. Trusting the process! Her work is amazing! I have beautiful unicorn hair...rose gold with hints of purple! And the best part is that my hair still feels healthy and in good condition.
