Hair was starting to look a little shaggy, so I went on the Yelp hunt for a new salon…read more Came across House of beauty. Awesome reviews, beautiful pictures. Everything Looked good... Checked them out on Facebook too, since they have no number listed on Yelp or google, reached out on FB messenger to the Business and I was connected to a lady named Stacie. She informed me that you have to set up your appointment with her through an app called StyleSeat ... It's basically a Yelp for hair, nails, waxing, eyelashes, and pretty much everything beautifying. I'm not sure if all the technicians here at HOB use this app for scheduling appointments? But the app itself even has lots of reviews and pictures too, plus Stacie gave me her Instagram to check out even more of her work, and I was sold lol.... She really has some talent! So everything is by appointment through the app only. And it's really easy to use. So my appointment date rolls around. Stacie informed me VIA text she was a little behind and if I could come 30.mins later, sure no problem. Arrived and sent her the text that I was there (since she informed me they keep the doors locked for safety reasons) and she lets me in... The place is a little house that's been transformed into a salon, and each room has its own little station, it's super cute,, fun, clean and comfortable. I loved it. And Stacie was very easy to talk to, super sweet and friendly, And she understood what I wanted, even kept asking me little details to make sure she did what I wanted too!... and I'd say she delivered! she brought my hair back to life! lol. I was so happy with her work. She has the hands of a machine when it comes to blow drying your hair, lol. I've never seen such movement with a hairbrush and blow dryer before. Haha! My experience here was so wonderful and I would very much recommend her and The House of Beauty to anyone ! Thanks again Stacie!

When I became pregnant with my daughter, I ended up neglecting myself and only had ONE hair cut! (I…read moredidn't even bother to trim it) After two years had passed since my last "chop it all off" haircut. I was ready to perm my super long hair again! I must have called 80% of the salons in town and this was the only salon that: 1) Actually does perms. 2) Offered a reasonable estimate. When I called on the phone, they were very courteous and polite. A few places ant you to come in for the consultation but I did not want to go in only to be quoted a price that I was NOT going to pay. Instead, I was transferred over to Norma who has had a lot of experience with perms. So I jumped at the chance and I made an appointment with Norma. I was so excited but nervous at the same time! I've had my hair permed before but I was still anxious. The ladies here made me feel comfortable, some salons feel intimidating but this did not make me feel that way. The location is clean, decorated well, and parking is ample. Norma was so easy to talk to, we hit it off and the whole time she made me feel like I was at a friend's house. Norma was honest and only recommended what she thought would help me. No unnecessary up sell or trying to push products. I was considering coloring my hair but due to the lack of grays, Norma told me that it didn't seem necessary unless it was something I wanted. To end it all, my spiral perm came out better than expected and it was a transformation that was long overdue!

While getting any pampering service done, we always talk, laugh, and have a great time! Natalie is always gentle and nonjudgmental with my dry cuticles, hang nails, or rough hands from gardening. Angie is always down for whatever dramatic hair change I decide on (she's given me a lob, shag, shullet, extensions, blonde, pink, ballage) and always talks me out of bad decisions (like a perm on top of very damaged hair). Going there for an appointment always makes me feel beautiful and lift my spirits. I highly recommend any services they provide and I know they take pride in what they do. One of the most meaningful times was when I went in for my daughters wedding day, but her insulin started getting low, so Angie told me she had candy in her purse by Natalie knew to get some juice from the fridge because juice is best.
