Checked them out on Facebook too, since they have no number listed on Yelp or google, reached out on FB messenger to the Business and I was connected to a lady named Stacie. She informed me that you have to set up your appointment with her through an app called StyleSeat ... It's basically a Yelp for hair, nails, waxing, eyelashes, and pretty much everything beautifying. I'm not sure if all the technicians here at HOB use this app for scheduling appointments? But the app itself even has lots of reviews and pictures too, plus Stacie gave me her Instagram to check out even more of her work, and I was sold lol.... She really has some talent! So everything is by appointment through the app only. And it's really easy to use. So my appointment date rolls around. Stacie informed me VIA text she was a little behind and if I could come 30.mins later, sure no problem. Arrived and sent her the text that I was there (since she informed me they keep the doors locked for safety reasons) and she lets me in... The place is a little house that's been transformed into a salon, and each room has its own little station, it's super cute,, fun, clean and comfortable. I loved it. And Stacie was very easy to talk to, super sweet and friendly, And she understood what I wanted, even kept asking me little details to make sure she did what I wanted too!... and I'd say she delivered! she brought my hair back to life! lol. I was so happy with her work. She has the hands of a machine when it comes to blow drying your hair, lol. I've never seen such movement with a hairbrush and blow dryer before. Haha! My experience here was so wonderful and I would very much recommend her and The House of Beauty to anyone ! Thanks again Stacie!

I called and as soon as I hung up, someone texted me to book an appointment. I was arranged with Rosary, who was not only amazing at what she does, but also so kind, friendly, welcoming and felt like home. She did not only give me the haircut that I wanted and asked for but she also fixed the haircut that the other salon butchered. So grateful for her and her magic hands! The day I got a haircut was the weekend full of parties I had to attend to and it worked out perfectly because my hair was camera ready. I got the pictures back and I loved my hair so much. Got so many compliments about it. Lastly, this place is such a vibe. Extremely organized and clean. Everyone minds their own business but also very welcoming and friendly. I discovered them through their Instagram work on brides. They had a monthly special for balayage/ombre styles, so I went there to have my ombre corrected. My hair before Mix was so brassy, and the ombre wasn't blended as well as it could have been. The great thing about the Mix Salon is that all the employees are trained in Jay Rua's ombre technique. These women are always on top of their trends, and I believe they go to different hair shows to learn new techniques and to stay on top of their hair game. Their salon is small with a total of 4 employees: 3 stylists and 1 assistant. I feel that it was great though because it really feels like visiting a happy family. They also all work as a team, always asking each other for advice for the technique or method used on hair. Gema was my primary stylist for the visit, and Elsa worked as her back up for a portion of the time. They mainly worked as a team when applying the bleach to my hair. This made my hair evenly process, so I did not have any random spots where the front was lighter or dark than the back. Overall, I'm very happy with my hair, and I've been dying to go back. I just need to find the time and save up the money. It is such a cute and comfortable place. It definitely worth giving Mix Salon a visit.

First time coming here and didn't know what to expect, but it was a lovely salon and everyone was kind. To be honest I was a little nervous since I was cutting my hair more than I wanted to but needed to, the stylist-Dede was very easy to talk to, quickly understood what I wanted and it was so quick and perfect. Definitely recommend this lovely place.
