Omgosh! My coworker introduced me to this place after it was recommended by her mom and Man is it worth it and awesome! One plate can last you the whole day. The grits are amazing. Portion sizes are fantastic. And the prices so good. The customer service is good as well. Definitely a gem in the city. Highly recommended!

Great experience. Good southern breakfast. Homemade biscuits. Buttery grits. And several protein options.

I loved this place! This was my first time and I will definitely be going back. I had the salmon breakfast (comes with everything in the photo) and it was only $7! And homemade! You can't beat that. The atmosphere was on point. Everyone was nice and made sure you had everything you needed. We need more places like this! One more thing, those homemade biscuits, melt in your melt!

Was Liver/gravy grits ,egg, and biscuits

This restaurant is a great place if you like good breakfast I've had almost everything on the menu I really come for the slice fatback the liver is a great choice it's tender ,the sausage taste like the old day season to perfection ,I do recommend this place to most because they play gospel music but the decor is kind of questionable they have a good score but it's in the ugly plaza but again the breakfast is the boom ima keep coming see you there ate all my food before picture time

Reminds me of my grandmothers cooking!!!! The biscuits are always buttery and fluffy!!! I always get fried chicken with grits and eggs!!! The pound cake at the front counter is good as well. They are a cash only establishment.

Back to the basics in cooking, down home good

We had to make a decision quickly when we were pivoting, and when we came across the great reviews and photos of the food. we didn't think twice about checking to see if we could make it happen. When we arrived, the staff was already preparing our table, so we only had to wait a few minutes before being seated. The space is pretty tight, and you're going to be close to the tables near you, but we were able to sit comfortably. Our server came over quickly to take our drink orders, and afterward she came back to answer any questions. Most of the food was ready at the same time. We appreciated that it came out as it was ready and wasn't left sitting. And everyone enjoyed the food! The only "complaint" one of my friends had was that she thought there was a little too much sauce in her shrimp and grits dish. She felt that the sauce, while it tasted great, overpowered the dish and she would've liked to taste more of the grits flavor. All in all, I'd say we'll likely be back to try something else on the menu.

That said, the aesthetic feels less Buckingham Palace and more whimsical London antique shop -- charming & eclectic. I ordered the blueberry lavender matcha and a breakfast plate. The menu names were definitely on brand, but not quite catchy enough for me to remember them later. Both were solid, though, and hit the spot. Service was a highlight. The cashier really leaned into the accent and took the time to thoroughly explain the menu, which made the whole experience feel more immersive and welcoming. Parking was easy on an early weekday afternoon -- always a win. The space works well for small parties, but be prepared: tables are small and seating is close together. One tip: avoid sitting upstairs in Eden. It's noticeably warmer than the rest of the restaurant, and you'll likely leave smelling like breakfast. Overall, a fun, themed spot with great service. But I don't think I'll be back.

Typically I research and take a peek at the menu, photos, etc. but I didn't this time. Peters Street has ample street parking and a few lots for a fee. Just check the signs before you leave your car. The entry is unassuming because there's so many little places on this street but once you enter you're in another time! The medieval theme is super cool - a Barron greeted us at the door. Seating is casual - find a spot to sit and then order from the digital menu at the door. Orders are taken at the counter but entrees and drinks are brought to your table. The owner Josh was extremely accommodating! He gave us some tastings of coffee, tea and the French toast. 10/10! I personally ordered the Blueberry Matcha and a Bowl (done keto). Everyone's meal looked amazing and not a crumb was left. We left with some of the canned whiskey drinks - Strawberry Whiskey Sour and Kentucky Mule made with bourbon. Josh said best enjoyed mixed together! The photo opps, food, drinks and aesthetics are so good here. Only comment is that the tables are pub or cafe style and best for small groups or just takeover a section like we did. Enjoy!

Oh yeah and when my sister asked for an over easy egg instead of a folded egg, our server Bri said no. For 4 people we paid $140 all together, not bad. Soul food egg rolls were AWFUL and they smelled bad too. No dairy free options either btw. Cute aesthetic though, wished the service matched it.

One thing I really loved was the photo booth outside in the parking garage--it was such a fun touch and made the visit even more memorable. The only downside was the parking. Unless you're lucky enough to find street parking, you'll have to park in the garage, which wasn't my favorite. Other than that, everything was great. The bartender was incredibly kind and patient, especially since I'm very picky about drinks. She helped me choose one that I ended up loving. The atmosphere inside was also really nice, with a fun and welcoming vibe. I'd definitely come back!
