Showing sink cut out on invoice 1
    John C.

So its install day. The installers came which were two Oriental and one Hispanic gentleman that came. They came in took a look at what had to be done. The lead his name was Lee , he brought in a jig saw and started cutting the corner braces off my brand new cabinet. I had to stop him and ask what he was doing, so I called the store spoke to Michelle who then had to give me to Alex explain that the braces he was cutting off is what hold my false drawer on the cabinet. So she said that he has to remove it. I explained to her that when Daniel came to measure that i needed my sink to but up against the brace and they couldn't be removed. She said that Lee says it has to, so after some back in forth we figured a solution out. They started bringing pieces in. One of my walls were not level and it bumped out a hair which Daniel measured that and said are you ok with a 2 centimeter gap on both sides I said yes as we hadn't put up back splash up and that it would be covered by it. So Lee decided to cut a 5ft by 2 inch hole in my wall to slide the counter top in, which now made all the measurements off that Daniel measured. I had to leave for 30 mins and get my daughter so when I come back I found I have a 6 inch to 7 inch cut on both sides of the sink base cabinet. He try's to explain that you wont see it and that the sink will cover it and the cut was for the sink lip. My sink lip is only 8cm's thick, while cutting that out he nicked the neighboring cabinets. So after trying to explain what he did they decided to put another piece on and tried to tell me that my one cabinet was not level so Lee brought in a 6 ft level and tried to tell me that the last cabinet was not level in the front and both his other workers agreed that it was. On one end I had a 1.5 inch over hang and the side where the cabinet he said was off there was a .25 inch over hang. Mind you if put a hole in the wall for the counter to go into which made all the measurements off. So I told him that wouldn't work, well he starts gluing everything down as he figured that was ok. So I had to scream at him asking what he was doing and said we need to fix this that it cant stay like that. So I had to cut my floor out to push two cabinets backwards to fix his screw up from him cutting the wall to slide that piece in crooked. So while they are finishing up they did not silicone where the granite meets the wall, where the counter meets the cabinets as well. So I asked them if they were going to do that and I received deer in the head lights look. They arrived at 130pm and this was at 6pm and the office was closed. I showed him all the chips on the corners of the counter tops and of the 5 he fixed two , one with epoxy and the other with bondo. Where the two granites meet at the seem was not flush so I had to have him fix that as well. It then came down to time to pay and I tried to explain I needed a receipt before I paid and that I want these issues fixed he said shop closed they will call tomorrow. He called someone they wrote a receipt took a picture and sent it to me. After two days and hearing nothing from them I contacted Michelle, explained my issue and she said she would have someone out to fix it. The next day Michelle calls me and states that they need pictures to make sure that all the issues would be addressed, so I sent them. Now it is over a week and have not heard anything. I have added pictures which honestly don't do justice for all that is wrong. My two finger ones the one on the left is so sharp that it cut my wife and caused her to bleed. The stove picture shows how crooked that piece against the all is. The gap at the front is quarter of a inch and the rear is three quarters of a inch. PLEASE PLEASE read the reviews on them and don't just settle because they are the cheapest. The craftsmanship is not there and to send guys that can not speak English knowing that there could potentially have a issue arise with no resolution or even a next day call is beyond me.

Edit on June 16: We are still awaiting resolution on a couple of issues with two of the shades. We…read moreshared the issues immediately after install. Spoke to Hunter Douglas directly and they said they would remake and needed the store to reach out. Waiting for resolution from the store. The review below was written with the trust that the store is working on it and hope it will be resolved soon as it has been a couple of months since the install. We purchased Hunter Douglas shades from JP Flooring and are very happy with our new shades. These are investment items for the house that we use everyday, so we didn't take the decision lightly. After a lot of research and talking to a few local dealers, we felt in the right hands with Stefanie. She never rushed us - she was always patient with questions and very knowledgeable about the product; she helped guide us and listened to our needs. This is a big store, but they have good people there who care about their customers. The experience we had was nothing short of white glove. We have recommended them to family and friends.

Extremely disappointing experience with JP Flooring. Run, Don't Walk Away…read more We hired them to extend and match our existing hardwood floors but were only shown a small handful of prefinished options that did not truly match. After installation, we later learned there were many post-finished/custom options available that should have been discussed from the beginning. Unfortunately, the installation quality was also very poor: * Damaged boards * Incorrect cuts * Damage to our original threshold board * Incomplete trim work around the fireplace * Uneven floor boards * Poor communication throughout the process We even paid for furniture moving, yet only one installer initially arrived, and I ended up helping move heavy furniture myself while recovering from triceps surgery. To JP Flooring's credit, the inspector they later sent acknowledged many of the problems. However, even the written repair summary initially left off one of the biggest unfinished items until we called it out ourselves. There are also uneven areas in the floor, and even JP Flooring's own reviewer stated they "may" settle over time because the baffles do not always line up properly, not exactly reassuring for a newly installed hardwood floor. At this point, we are still trying to get the situation corrected properly. Very frustrating experience overall, especially given the cost and expectations associated with professional hardwood flooring work.

We had many, many issues with this company, I cannot list all of them because of character limits…read more I don't think anyone should use them, they are just awful. Biggest Issue: We asked 3 companies for LVP quotes for 2 rooms, the rooms were mixed flooring (wood and carpet). I told each measurer that we wanted to replace all the flooring in the rooms. I clearly remember saying this to each one because I was concerned they would think we wanted to replace only the carpet and wouldn't quote right. UFF was not the cheapest, but not the most expensive. The prices were within a range that was similar. 2 of the companies showed me their measurements, UFF did not. They were the first to measure, so I foolishly assumed they did it right. They provided us an invoice which had the number of items ordered, it matched what they had told us verbally. We trusted them and their expertise. Day of the install we came to understand that the measurements THEY TOOK were not correct. They shorted the rooms by about 5-6 feet or roughly 150 units. UFF's response to this is to blame us for not catching the mistake on the invoice, stating they will need to order more and we will need to pay for the install/flooring. We argue that since this was their mistake they will pay the installers, we also state we expect to pay at cost for the additional flooring. They do not respond to this, we demand an invoice before additional work is done. They order the flooring, but take several days to send us a new invoice. During this time we contact a lawyer for advice and they state that our expectation for the measurement to be correct is on UFF and not us, but we should work something out with them as it will cost much more to go to court. We decide that we will not pay the installers, but will pay what we paid for the boards. We paid $4 per unit for the original LVP. When they send us the new invoice they attempt to charge us $6 per but have taken off the install charges. In the email with the new price the lady explains that she couldn't give us the discounted price because it's a second order. We feel like this was very rude of them, their mistake caused the second order. We call and the man (Jeff) tells us that the $6 unit price is for the LVP and the installers. So, they tried to make it look like the actual unit price was $6 when really it wasn't. They were also trying to make it seem like they had removed the installers, when they hadn't. After much back and forth we came to an agreement: No cost for the installers and a unit price of $4.50. We looked up the flooring on wholesale sites and they charged just under $3 for the units, so even though they messed up they attempted to swindle us out of more money. That really shows how 'great' they are. Additional Issues: 1. They didn't clean up after the first LVP install day 2. They didn't move the furniture back on the first LVP install day 3. No one more masks in our home 4. We starts the installs on 8/24 and finished them on 9/24, that's a whole month of waiting on them 5. The carpet install took 12 hours because 2 of the installers didn't show because we have a BLM flag 6. Our LVP had to be reordered, but they didn't notify us until the day before the install to tell us when we ordered it 2 months in advance. I will never use another local company again. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

Use this company at your own risk, our experience was horrible, we raised concerns about them…read moreplacing tile over our shower window and they did it anyway, the grout job was one of the worst I've seen including no two grout lines looking the same, I have pictures that I presented them and the secretary said I'm sorry that looks horrible and offered me 100$ off lol. They left our bathroom a mess and left black grout on everything. Easily my worst experience with a contractor. On top of everything they were at least an hour late every day.
