The deli items were typical of any grocery store that doesn't specialize in hot foods. The beef brisket was dry on the exterior and tender on a small area of the interior. I assumed she would simply leave to grab her wallet, but the cashier's assistant offered to pay for the meal. While I initially thought this was a kind gesture, it quickly turned offensive. The employee commented on how "skinny" my 18-year-old daughter is, using her body as a pretext for the "charity." We are more than capable of paying for our own food, and it was incredibly inappropriate and unprofessional for this employee to use a helping hand as an excuse to body-shame my daughter and make derogatory remarks under the guise of religious righteousness. As a family of color, we felt targeted and disrespected. I was appalled by this behavior and urge management to address this hypocrisy and lack of professionalism.

The main reason I don't frequent here anymore is because they don't do grocery pickup and I don't have time to go into the store. It also takes a long time to check out. Another thing to note is that they do not guarantee their produce. I have bought potatoes, gone home and cut them and found them to be rotten and they would not refund them. The reason they get 4 stars is because their prices are low compared to other grocery stores. They also frequently have sales and I love that
