If l could l will give UPS a no-star…read more I am extremely frustrated with UPS after a dispatcher changed my delivery address to an old address that is no longer mine without ever consulting me, the recipient. The listed delivery address on the package was already correct and current, yet someone at UPS decided to override it on their own. This was completely unacceptable, especially because the items I ordered were time-sensitive and the unauthorized address change caused a major disruption to an event being held at my home. I fail to understand why a UPS dispatcher would take it upon themselves to redirect a package without the recipient's consent or verification. This situation reflects a serious lack of accountability and poor customer service. Customers should be able to trust that their packages will be delivered to the address they actually provided -- not an outdated address chosen by someone else at UPS.

When the larger post offices are crowded you can get in and out despite the limited parking inside this tiny lot that can only hold about eight cars. Sometimes you have to ring the bell when you come inside because nobody's at the counter. Very small town Mayberry RFD-ish. You halfway expect Andy or Barney to pull up at some point. I was majorly annoyed yesterday when I went to drop a package off. It had a prepaid label so all I needed to do was hand it to the clerk and get my receipt. After she received the package she then informed me that, "we no longer give receipts", which puzzled me so I asked her to repeat it and then asked why. She didn't know why nor did she know if there were other post offices that had adopted this policy - and didn't seem to care one way or the other. Are they cutting back on paper now too?? Given all the drama that Louis DeJoy has created since he took over the post office it wouldn't surprise me, and I would be foolish to hand them a package - for them to potentially lose or misplace - and I don't have a receipt??? That's like handing them a green light for shenanigans and the deniability to go along with whatever happens next. The front USPS rep (Queza) was kind and patient and she was even smiling. Never have I seen an USPS worker smiling before.
