One of the ladies just asked if there's another clerk available in the back...we are yet to see her. I recommend coming first thing in the morning if you have to come, because this is horrible.

Always had a parking spot every time I came to do mail stuff. 3) Interior: it's a little older, but everything is in working order. Clean, neat, orderly and not a spec of dirt anywhere. 4) Employees: exceptionally friendly and welcoming. They're always glad to help you out. I don't know what kind of other things to talk about when it comes to mail. I walk in, drop my mail or a package off, I pay for it, I walk out and I'm good to go. My mail or package gets there early is a plus, but all in all I just need it to get there in a timely fashion or even if it's extremely backed up, I would just want the item to get there period.

The staff here is engaged in their work.  They are friendly and neighborly.  The parking lot is…read morekept up very well.  The lobby and entrance is clean and kept free of debris and snow during the year and inclement weather.  The postal boxes outside are in good condition too.  This post office is conveniently located in downtown Romulus.  There are parks nearby and it is an easy ride or walk to several other businesses. The building is clearly marked.  It is a little difficult to find the door at first because it is tucked behind the main facade but that allows for easy entry during inclement weather as mentioned.  The landscaping is attractive and well designed.  All in all it is a pleasure to visit this post office for my postal business.

The counter clerks are very good at what they do and offer a positive outlook.  It's refreshing to do business with them.  If the building is closed there are some conveniently located postal boxes right outside.  You can drop items in when walking by or even drive up if you want to.  The building is located in a quaint plaza and the traffic passing by is usually quiet and moving at a reasonable pace.

The Melvindale Post Office has a very large parking lot. It is easy in and easy out even during…read morebusy times because of the road it is on. Use caution, as usual. This Post Office is not open all the time and there is no access to the lobby when it is closed. Keep an eye for the time if you want desk service or any special work. What makes this Post Office unique is a drive-through window - however, according local residents the drive-through window has never actually been in operation. There are two mailboxes outside the building in the back. Both the fact that the drive-through window is not in use, though certainly a cool feature not seen every day, and that the mailboxes are at the back of the building and made for cars this Post Office gets a '3'.
