If I could give it zeros stars I would. I live over an hour away and this is the closest post office that does passports. I had gone up there on a Friday to do a passport after 3 when I was told they only do them Tuesday's and Thursday's for walk ins after 3. Tuesday rolls around and then I walk in and there's a line I was the fourth person and I was told they allow four people. After the 3rd person was finished after standing in line with their building having no AC I was told they weren't going to do mine. Keep in mind every person working and the people in front of me in line that got their passports done was Hispanic or African American then of course after them they see a young white female and tell me no. These post office people had told me something different the three times I made the drive up there that same week and finally when I do it right they tell me they can't process it. I know they remembered me coming up their 3 separate times because she kept looking at me and mumbling rude things while they were telling me they couldn't do mine that day. I'm very positive this place purposefully books up their appointments slots for passports so they do not have to do them. I sat and watched for her to be doing passports at the times and dates they were booked and no one was in there. So if you're needing a passport don't even try here. Whoever funds the USPS and chooses their buildings needs to actually come to this location and see that this post office is WAY to small for this growing area. With all the new home builds, there is no reason to have such a huge PO box area and the worlds smallest little lobby. It's not the employees fault, they are working with what they are provided, but New Caney isn't the small little town the government thinks it is. Somethings for improvement should be having the pickup window in the lobby be open the entire day like other post offices instead of certain hours. Today when I went, the counter side of the post office was packed due to a large family in one corner with a passport appointment and a group of older customers and me cornered on the only side of the counter that had a stressful worker at. I don't even think this post office had a self service machine unless I didn't check over at the PO box side. Unless your dropping off letters, either find a bigger post office or learn the machine. read more

Absolutely the worse customer service I've ever seen. Miguel is the only one here who treats you like a person he's so kind. The other lady (y'all know exactly who I'm talking about) always acts like you're inconveniencing her by trying to pick up your packages AT THE POST OFFICE. Please find a new job since you obviously don't like yours. read more

This post office is too small. The area has drastically outgrown this facility. My mail has been lost several times since I moved here in 2004. The only employee that I would give 5 stars to would be Miguel. He is the best! read more

Had my mail "lost" a few times since moving to this area, funny thing is that mail only gets "lost" when it is gift cards or checks. This office needs to be investigated. read more

Customer service is horrible here, go to 1960 location they will treat you much better. I had a prepaid package and after waiting for some one to let me know where to drop it, the lady in the counter told me to be in line, I usually leave it in the drop off location but this place doesn't have one. The employees at this post office provide anti-help. I learned years ago that if someone doesn't care, no one can make them care. Over two years ago my paycheck (mailed in Houston) took 14 days to be delivered and the supervisor at the time told me that ALL mail must go through the USPS Processing Center in Dallas before being delivered to Houston even if it mailed from Houston. It was not lost so it was shocking. Today (Friday), I found out my overnight package (sent Thursday morning) was not in Houston and will not be delivered by 6pm as promised. I shared with the new supervisor and another employee what I had been told about inbound mail and both said it was not true. Really?! The last scan was early this afternoon in Coppell (Dallas suburb) NOT Houston. I just recently moved into town. As I was getting established, I had to come back to this particular post office four times. Without fail, a clerk by the name of Kendra was unprofessional and discourteous to at least a handful of people within those visits. Don't know Harley but we must have the same carrier. A few month's ago a legal document was sent back to the lawyer as non deliverable supposedly it was tried to deliver three times but we did not get a notice ever until our lawyer contacted us. I did complain but they stood by carrier as her paperwork showed her being by the mailbox. Still have misc. complaints. Recently someone knocked over our mailbox and our mail has had to be put on hold at post office a package that was suppose to be picked up just showed as being delivered to a nonexistent mailbox. The manager is Michael and will be discussing this with him. If enough of us complain maybe something can be done about the carrier as she is obviously falsely saying things are being delivered. This is not the first time this has happened that something was delivered but wasn't usually when I complain it mysteriously shows up the next day. The only way to get change is for all of us to band together and speak up cause it's not just you. read more

i have been new caney resident since 1978. i have had consistent issues with the mail carrier/deliverer. she is rude, lazy and has took all my mail and returned it to the senders. i have never gave her permission to do this. the delivery woman that delivers to my home has consistently left my mail box door open and all the mail was soaked to the point i could not read it due to blurred ink or it falling a part. when i go to the office to talk to the post master i receive even more rudeness and a mouth full of excuses. the sad this is i have no choice but to deal with them for they all our post office. just yesterday i recieved a hand written note on my sons mail stating she will no longer deliver my mail. sorry post office but you cannot refuse to serve me. i pay your bills. i will be there the second you open the doors on 10/19 to get my mail you said you won't deliver . and i will find the next in chain of command to handle this poor poor service. read more
