Continued lost packages, accompanied with a shrug of the shoulders as a response to having any concerns what so ever leaves me bewildered. I thought convenience in location, with being a inner city lifer would be the end all/be all, thinking assurance in delivery were paramount. NOPE! This sad era has taken a toll on us all and customer services, response in effect is out the window. Lost trust isn't waining anytime soon. Pray you'll never encounter the wrath! GEEEESH

I would guess very few Yelp Reviews are done on a post office and even more would be a 5 star…read morerating. I had such an experience at a particular post office in Alexandria KY. The Fred Factor was a book written about a mailman who gave excellent customer service. I met a "Fred" in Alexandria, KY. There is one guy working hard to meet a plethora of needs for each and every customer. Many older individuals like myself need a lot of attention and this gentleman never seems to get frustrated and yet keeps the line moving. This gentleman also has a way with people as to not make them feel stupid. I have written several books on customer service and can readily identify trained professionals. These individuals are quite common at Disney Southwest, and even Chickfilla. I might just expect such service at these locations, however to receive such service early in the morning when I was covered in paint at a post office located in a strip mall was highly unexpected. The gentleman circled the barcode at the bottom of the receipt as I had to look like the last person who might later scan and fill out a customer service survey. I have to admit I was a little surprised that our U. S. Post Office even cares what I think about their service. The questions were also very good. On this day it is safe to say there were positive surprises for both sides. Besides filling out their survey, I also have my Yelp Elite Badge! I can only hope that the post office follows up with this young man running the show in Alexandria KY as he has unlimited potential. I truly hope ge gets acknowledged by leadership.

The ladies in this office are really through and nice -- especially when it comes to explaining things that need to get done or how they came up with the price for something, if you ask them about it. I prefer to come to this office, over the Newport office, because this office is a lot easier to get in and out of it and these ladies are amazing at their jobs!
