I had a burst pipe that flowed through the walls damaging my drywall, furniture and carpet. This company was recommended by the plumber and they showed up within 90 minutes. Their responsiveness during our emergency was awesome. Unfortunately we had to rip out a substantial portion of the room. Their work product was great. Their pricing was not clear. I got a bill at the end of the day that was insanely high for the work completed. It was explained to me that that is because it was "insurance rates." I am not filing a claim with my insurance so I am getting stuck paying unquoted work (during an emergency) at crazy high rates. Again, their emergency response was great. Their work product was exactly what it should have been. I am just very surprised and disappointed at the pricing. Even recognizing I was in a bind and it was going to cost me, their pricing was simply not fair. Getting a bill after the fact, nothing I can do now except let others know if you aren't making an insurance claim, be prepared for "insurance rates." So my boyfriend and I are new homeowners and we've had such a string of bad luck resulting in three minor floods within six months (one from radiant heating system, one from washing machine & one from hot water tank). Kinder Carpet was fast on scene for assessment, cleanup, drying, repairs etc. and they were very thorough with mold detection and hunting for any other additional issues. Jesus Jr. kept up good communications with us while we were away, which we so appreciated. He and his crew were quick and efficient with the repairs and replacements. The one major bonus from the flood was getting new floors in our living room and they turned out beautiful! If you run into any kind of floods, mold, drywall or floor issues, be sure to give them a shout. They are reasonably priced and work things out quickly. Bait and switch company. DO NOT HIRE THESE CRIMINALS!!! We got a quote for $1300 to remove the mold in our attic. They never did a spore test which is required for mold remediation, then sent us a bill for over $6500. When we asked for documentation of what was done and a copy of the contract they would not provide any. They just kept lowering the balance each time we called them. These guys are awesome, had a mold issue in our house and they came out right away. Quincy showed up onsite and was extremely friendly and knowledgable. They assessed the situation and started mold remediation with dehumidifiers and air cleaners, immediately. They did a good job cleaning the carpet but wanted another $150 for the couch which was relatively new and not that bad. Way too much.

Don't waste your time and money. I called this company to clean my upstairs carpet because they advertised carpet restoration. There were several stains from a renter. I told the office that there were some stains and possibly some mold and he stated they would use special chemicals to remove it. They called and said they were running late about 30 minutes which was no big deal. I pointed out all the stains and expected them to pretreat them. They did not. The stains did not come out. Most of it was just traffic dirt with a few stains in one of the bedrooms. I called them back and told the man I was not satisfied with the cleaning. He told me the tech would call me. The tech called me and at first he stated that if there was a mistake made by them, they would fix it. He then stated that it would cost $100.00 for them to come back and redo the areas and that it was because the carpet was too dirty and the stains would not come out. I told him that they did not pretreat the stains. He insisted they did, but I was standing right there watching them. He said in the middle of the one room that he needed to go and get some chemicals. It's been my experience that stubborn stains need to be pretreated and set for at least 10 minutes on carpets as well as laundry. It's a no brainer. I told the tech that I had the same type of stains the last time the carpet was cleaned by Steam Master and they came out perfectly. I also tipped him and extra $40.00 which was a mistake. Both the man who answered the main number and the tech made a ton of excuses why the carpet did not come clean. The tech stated he spent a lot of time on my carpet. They were here 1 hour and 15 minutes. He then hung up on me. I got some white vinegar and padded a part of the stains. It came up immediately. I text the tech and told him the stains came up with the vinegar. He did not respond. I had to call another carpet cleaner ( Service Masters) to come in and fix their shotty work. The carpet is now completely clean and all the stains came out. Basically this company doesn't give a dam if the customer is satisfied or not. read more
